This place is hit or miss. Their 1 yard bucket seems to be a bit smaller than everyones elses in town and their employees can either be really friendly or completely rude, It just depends on the day. If you follow the speed limits on their signs, expect to get yelled at for going to fast. If you have a small piece of concrete you didnt know was in your fill dirt you are dumping there, prepare to get yelled at.
I called RT Donovan to inquire about their composting program and dropping off a few loads of sod removed from a front yard that I am in the process of xeriscaping. Kelly answered the phone and was amiable enough to start, but that quickly changed... RT Donovan charges a disingenuously quoted $7 per yard to dispose of compostable materials, with a two-yard minimum--stated more honestly, that's $14 a load for anything most pick-up trucks could handle. When I expressed some shock at the steep rate for helping RT Donovan to literally make money using my raw materials, Kelly said: "Loaders don't run on cherry Kool-Aid." Well, Kelly and RT Donovan, successful businesses don't run on dishonest rate quotes, poor customer service, and snide, condescending remarks to prospective customers.
