The owner seemed to be really nice and helped us out to get a loan for the car we wanted. We explained we needed a reliable vehicle that was snow worthy and that we didn't have a lot of money because my husbands disabled with a brain tumor and has a broken neck and I had to stay home to take care of him. He worked out the numbers so we could get the loan for it along with a trade for our old vehicle, which was great. However, after the first day it was bucking or revving the engine when I started it and started to drive. I brought it back, took the man there for a ride but it didnt do it and because it didnt do it when he was in the car he said "Oh its fine. Just a new car your not used to." I called again about it when it didnt stop and he said it could be the fuel filter. Everytime it did it by the time I was near the shop it wasnt doing it still so they kept brushing me off. When I called Zack was never there and at other auctions. So just 2 payments in my muffler started being really loud. Took it to a shop near me and all the parts to the muffler system from front to back were severely rusted and or had broken off and I had to have the parts replaced. $500 bucks. The very next day after I got it back, the transmission died. $3500 bucks... Which I had most of the money to fix and someone was going to help me out with the remaining $600 that I didnt have but then backed out on me on paying it. I already sent it to be fixed thinking I would have the money for it. Now it sits at the transmission place and Ive made 2 more payments on my truck that I cannot use because I cant afford to pay the transmission guy. When I called about it to say the transmission died and said how I did tell them about the bucking and that their guy said well if it isnt doing it now there is nothing I can tell you. Zack told me its not my fault you continue to drive it for 2 months after that. Uhm well yes it was because your guy told me there was nothing wrong. Thanks for the "reliable snow worthy vehicle" Zack. Just another person to put in the shady characters of upstate NY box. Don't buy at Palmers! I am so glad that my friend didnt go there when I suggested it before the problems revealed themselves!
You will never find a car dealer as helpful as Zak palmer.. I have dealt with quite a few and he is the best by far. As for the cars they r used and it's a risk we all take when we purchase used. He will do everything he can to make sure you are a satisfied customer.
This crook took my trade in which was worth 3000 and sold me a veichle for 7491 dollars..afyer my 3000 trade in i gave him 4491 cash.. However I got the veichle he sold to me appraised and it was only worth 2500. He is a fast talker and very deceitful and does not take responsibility for anything and he acts as though he is doing a big favor for fixing the veichle before giving it to you...I had to put the veichle up on a lift and get a print out for him to fix it....The first words out his mothers mouth is we are a family business...she should say a family of crooks...oh the car he sold me was also in two accidents...one in Florida the other in conneticut After you give him cash he can careless about you...he is very unproffessional..The car he sold me was bought back twice to be fixed he has no customer service skills..He does not call you to keep you abreast of the status of your veichle...you have to call him constantly...The most horrible customer expierience ever....so he is buying these cars for dirt cheap and trippling the prices....I would not recomend PALMER AUTO TO ANYONE!! IF U GO GET A CARFAX Lesson Learned!
