Kevin, We are sorry that you felt compelled to leave a bad review. We take pride in our reputation and to read derogatory remarks online is very disheartening to us. To anyone reading this review, we did initially send Mr. Piercy the incorrect form of title, however we quickly resolved that for him and sent him the proper title. We sent him the "memo" title (which is standard procedure for Ohio residents that get a loan) however Indiana required the physical title showing a lien holder. When we realized what had happened, we promptly corrected the problem so he could get his license plates. Fast forward a year later after he paid his vehicle off, he reached out to us to send him his vehicle title. We tried to explain to him that we did not have it because that is simply not how the process works. We are not the bank, we do not hold titles. Every state is different how they handle this process (for example ohio is an electronic title state when a lien is held). We attempted to help Mr. Piercy and even left him a VM in regards to the matter that he never responded to. He was convinced that we had the title and he would not accept any other explanation. A phone call perhaps could have been helpful in that endeavor had he returned the call and not resorted to Facebook messenger. We even sent proof proving to him that we had already sent him his title. 1. Mail confirmation 2. The Ohio title showed that it had already been surrendered out of state per the Ohio BMV website (meaning Mr. Piercy transferred the Ohio title we sent him to Indiana) 3. Mr. Piercy would never have been able to get license plates for the year he had the car had we not provided him his title in the first place We are sorry to Mr. Piercy if it seemed like we were trying to "blame him" because we absolutely weren't. We simply tried to explain and think through the situation (via text) to the best of our ability in an effort to help him since he was our customer. Every state is different and it is difficult to keep up with how 50 states handle their paperwork, especially during a pandemic when communication with these offices can be very difficult. If there was anything we could have done better in this instance we would have absolutely done it, but as we outlined there ultimately wasn't anything in our power we could do for an out of state resident seeing that we are an Ohio dealer, not Indiana. As Mr. Piercy stated he ultimately received his title from the loan agency proving we had done our job correctly, for this we do not feel as though we deserve such a harsh and derogatory review 1 year after the sale. Would buy here again. Smooth transaction, no pressure sales tactics. Chris is very friendly. Thanks guys! < my first impression, and oh was I WRONG. I was not given the right papers to get my car titled and was given a hard time by the owner trying to blame me for losing the papers when I messaged him asking for assistanc. Then when I completed my loan, I messaged him my new address to send the title too. And was told by the owner that he didnt have the title, That I was in possession of the title and that if I didnt have it then I mustve lost it. Told him that wasnt a possibility and received no help. 3 weeks later my title came in the mail from the loan company that he uses. Man is so scared of messing up or not knowing something that hell just make ya feel like you messed up. Panic searched for my title for a week knowing there was no way I wouldve lost it. Also was paid to write the first good review. Guys a loser.

Chris and everyone at Riverfront Autos was pleasant and extremely personable. He was respectful, genuine, and transparent with the car he was selling and went above and beyond after the sale to make sure we had a wonderful experience (eg. made sure we had a full tank$ and cleaned off the windshield after removing the sale sticker). Highly highly recommend.
