Hello, We are so sorry that you were dissatisfied with your visit and the hairstyle that you initially wanted was unachievable. Our stylists number one concern next to client satisfaction is to ensure the health and integrity of our clients hair. The condition of your hair when you arrived was extremely compromised and left in an updo with an array of product for an extended amount of time. Our stylist had to do six shampoos along with a deep conditioning treatment and noticed that more than a normal amount of breakage was occurring. She took you back to her chair and applied our most nourishing products and after lightly brushing you out the amount of breakage was very alarming. She realized to keep your hairs integrity that no more heat should be applied. At this time she offered you a braided look or a more obtainable updo style. You got very upset at this point and we tried to compromise to your liking. The charge was for the hour spent washing the product buildup out of your hair and for the conditioning treatment. If you would like to come in for an olaplex treatment or other conditioning options please reach out and let us know, we would love for you to get to a healthy and happy place with your hair. Complete SCAM! Avoid The Pretty Pretty Collective! As soon as I came, the staff were very arrogant. I travel all around the world, having my hair done in top salons in New York, London, Paris - never experienced anything like this!!! They were supposed to do me a simple hairstyle but after washing my hair they refused to proceed saying that my hair is too bad, while rubbing various creams into it, making it feel sticky and oily. The final result was AWFUL, making me look like as if I just came out of heavy rain. I had to go to a different salon first thing in the morning where they did their job. Despite I came there for a hair styling, they forced me to pay them $55 for washing my hair and having it look like that! AVOID!!!!!!

I tried cutting my own hair and made a mess of it. They did a really good job fixing it up. The space is also really cute and everyone that works there has a really unique style. It's a nice quirky little space that seems to have a lot of repeat customers.

Lia didn't show up for the appointment. She sent me an email(!) 20 minutes before the appointment time canceling. It was too late - I was already there, waiting for her. Very poor communication and very very unprofessional. Don't trust.
