Love the haircut and styling by Mishal, but the hair wash done before haircut by the other girl was way less than satisfactory - would be nice if she were little more professionally trained.

Everyone commented after my engagement that my makeup was too heavy, despite me asking for very light makeup, and despite me bringing in a picture of a more dewy look. I also ended up taking out the extensions that they put in because it looked really off. Mishal is extremely sweet but the makeup and hair were not to my taste. If youre a fan of heavier makeup you may have a different opinion though.

My wedding planner recommended Mishal to me because she was the artist who did makeup for her own wedding--if a wedding planner trusted Mishal with her own big day, who was I to say no? And I am so glad I did not! Mishal did three unique hair and makeup looks for my wedding last week and I could not be happier with the work of her and her team. Both Mishal and her hairdresser took their time to make sure that each look was unique and worked perfectly with both my outfits and jewelry. I am not a person who is very well versed or familiar with makeup looks or hairstyles so I came into the events with few ideas of what I wanted, but Mishal was so understanding and created looks and hairstyles that matched with my features and didn't make me feel like I was caked in makeup. I felt like a princess with every look! Even before the wedding, Mishal had me come in for facials and gave me a skincare routine to follow so that I came into the wedding with the best natural skin I could. I still use the products she recommends, even after the wedding! And for as skilled as Mishal is, she is also very professional. Her and her team were always on time and had great attitudes, even with a 3:30am makeup call for my wedding day. I know that day was long and exhausting, but Mishal and her team were always high energy and did not let anything effect the care they took into crafting their looks. I highly recommend Mishal to any bride who is looking for someone to take great care of her on her wedding day!
