I ordered this paint, and was really excited to use it to paint our horse trailer. The only positive about my experience was with the color. I spent hours prepping for painting, following all 'best practices' for proper adhesion. I even went so far as to email the company to check to see if their paint required a hardener. I was told that no hardener was needed. After completing the project, and waiting a couple of weeks for the paint to cure, I noticed that the finish seemed really soft and was scratching extremely easily. It has now been over a month and the paint is soft enough that I can scratch it with my fingernail. I tried reaching out to the company a few times with concerns about the quality of the paint, only to have customer service place all of the blame on my work, and never considered that the product could have been defective. It's not a great feeling to have spent a bunch of money on a product and have it fail, only to have the company place the blame on you. There didn't seem to be any effort to make things right aside from sending boiler plate responses about testing the paint before using it. This is all after having spent almost $500 for 2 gallons of paint. Needless to say, I'm not at all happy with the product or the customer service.

Hi Ryan, I am sorry you did not have a good experience on MyPerfectColor. We keep batch samples of every order and are able to go back and check the accuracy. I tried finding your order so I could take a look, but didn't see any email that could have been you, and I was also not able to find your order. Did you order under a different name? If you wouldn't mind sending an email to our support @ (or calling) to my attention then I will take a look. I'd like to understand what happened for your order. In most cases do all we can to fix any problems, and if we cannot, we offer full refunds. We don't have a 5-star average because we are perfect. We have a 5-star rating because we own our mistakes, so if we didn't in this case, I'd like to know about it. Best, Jason

Had marks/scratches left on our interior walls from moving furniture etc. and filled out the necessary information to order the touch up paint needed to match our walls. The paint that arrived wasn't a match and is considerably different in color from what we needed. Contacted support and their response was pretty confusing and unhelpful. Ended up with a product that we're not going to use because it's not an accurate match. Very disappointed considering all the great reviews.

Thank you so much for your paint service! I recently changed the flooring in my kitchen which lead to me taking wallpaper off of an accent wall which lead to painting the wall with the accent color in the kitchen. I did not have enough paint to complete the task so I tried to find the same Martha Stewart color only to find that it is not sold in stores anymore. I was so disappointed and stressed. I did some searching and found your paint service. You were able to create the same Martha Stewart color. Your website was easy to navigate and the paint arrived in less than a week. Needless to say, I am elated with the paint. It is exactly the same paint color. I finished my kitchen project and I am so very happy! Thank you again.

GREAT color match! for our screened patio, we wanted to spray paint our hurricane shutter brackets, but have them blend into the house as much as possible. My Perfect Color match gave me an option I'd never heard of before. Spray paint to match our previously purchased house paint. Note that the cans are 10 oz , and they are not the equivalent of your typical spray paint . .but as expected it went on smoothly , no streaking. Get more than you think you need. The cans didn't go quite as far as I had hoped, but getting the EXACT color, and having no brush strokes (and, of course, the ease of spray paint) made it totally worth it. I would not hesitate to purchase from this company again.

Hi Brad, I am very sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the paint you bought from us. I looked up your order and see you ordered a fed std color. We match these colors to the official government color swatches and test every order for accuracy before shipping. I checked the batch sample (we keep one for every order), and the color you received does match the color you ordered. Based on your review it sounds like you selected the color based on the online image presumably to touch something up. We try to warn people against this method by including this disclaimer directly under every color image on our website: "Actual color may vary from on-screen representation. Please view a physical color swatch or material sample to confirm your color choice prior to purchase." You must not have seen this. Every color we offer on our website is based on an actual physical color swatch or part. We use these physical samples to make paint. We do not match to colors on the computer screen. Not only do digital colors look different on every single device (this reflects the limitations of current display technology), but it is literally impossible to compare the color of a physical object to a digital display. The human eye cannot compare a reflected light to an illuminated light - try holding something up to your computer screen and you'll see what I mean. So when you say the color doesn't match your screen, how are you making this determination? That said, we are very accomodating when something like this happens. In this case, we would remake your paint if you send us a physical part of whatever you are trying to touch up or match. We do our best to provide the best quality product we can and we stand behind our service, even when it isn't our fault. Regards, Jason

I ordered a color from this company that did not match what so ever. The lady I spoke with told me to never rely on the color swatches online. Ok, if the color was going to be completely different - why even have those color swatches available online for people to look at? It costs me 50 dollars. I won't use them again.
