We hired Back2Life for our wedding this July and they completely exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled with our decision. From the initial start of planning, to postponing the date due to Covid and then asking the band leader to check out the new ceremony space of the venue before the event, BVT could not have been easier to work with. Nils, the event consultant and Mark, the band leader were so kind, responsive and fun to work with. Mark and his band members have decades of experience and it showed. He is a consummate professional and musician. It gave us such confidence as we got closer to the event as he really knew what he was talking about and listened to the vision we had for the event. The experience showed also in the way the band worked so well together and the fun they seemed to have as well. We had a special request for the ceremony music and the band nailed the instrumental versions of these songs, especially The Final Countdown that my new husband walked down the aisle to. It was so fun for our guests and set the tone for a fun wedding. The range of music that Back2Life has is just incredible and they had our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Some of the comments from our guests after the event included they should be on tour!, that was the best concert Ive ever been to! and the band was unreal and I want to have a party just to hear them again! Big Ric Rising isn't just A band...they are THE band. My daughter's wedding was made a truly special occasion because of the talent and professionalism of this crack ten-piece unit. Every single player was top notch - from the shredding guitarist to the killer rhythm section, to the fabulous horns and the world class lady singers. They didn't just play music, they gave a real PERFORMANCE worthy of a concert hall. And unlike many wedding bands, their sound mix was perfect. They were powerful but never too loud. And then there is Big Ric Minter himself. Ric is not only a singer without peer (don't miss his version of James Brown's "This Is A Man's World"...you'll never forget it.), but a true gentleman who does everything he can to please both his client and his audience. And in performance? WOW! He had everyone up and dancing all night, even those who normally wouldn't leave their seats. In addition, he has a wonderful sense of humor and soul to burn. I would recommend this wonderful ensemble to anyone who knows the difference between just good music and really GREAT music by a band and leader who really care about showing their client and their guests a great time. Dear Shavin & The Midnight Hour Band, Katelyn and I can not thank you enough for the EXTRAORDINARY performance that you guys delivered on our wedding night 6/30 @ The Waterworks. We could not have wished for a better sounding, more entertaining or more professional band. EVERYONE loved you guys! I can not tell you how many compliments we got about the band, but to put it modestly, there were too many to count. You guys made the difference in taking our wedding night from good to GREAT. Our families and friends are critical when it comes to rating bands and their performances, with that being said that you guys get a PERFECT 10! A few of our guests commented that you guys sounded so good and professional that many times throughout the night they thought that the actual recordings of the songs were being played, that is how much you nailed EVERY song! We can not thank you enough for making our wedding night the best and most fun night of our lives. Everyone danced ALL night long and EVERYONE couldn't get enough of The Midnight Hour Band! Lastly, Shavin was a GREAT band leader to deal with. He accommodated our EVERY request and made our wedding night more special than we ever could have expected. We had the absolute privilege of having Big Ric Rising perform at our reception and what a pleasure it was! Big Ric and his team approached the day and the weeks leading up to it with absolute class. Talking with Ric and Nils on the phone was like connecting with an old friend you havent seen in a while. Their energy and enthusiasm in making sure they had all of our wishes in mind carried over to the wedding day. If my wife didnt look so stunning, Id say Big Ric and his crew absolutely stole the show. From the moment we were introduced, our guests knew they were in for a party unlike any wedding theyve attended before. They kept the dance floor packed for the duration of our reception. Rics voice and energy was impeccable, his accompanying singers were flawless and the bands sound was amazing! All of our guests from our 12 year old cousin to our 90 year old Grandmother had nothing but compliments toward the band! Many of our soon to be married guests asked for their contact info to book for their big day, and I HIGHLY suggest you do the same! You WILL NOT be disappointed!
