My experience with Trish was really awful, I do not recommend her to anyone. On my wedding day I put on a dress that I was less than excited about, a top that not what I wanted, and a skirt that was 2 inches too short. When we had met for the fabric consultation I felt that I was really put on the spot to purchase the fabric. Prior to that visit I was never told that the decisions would need to be made that day and that this was part of the process, Despite my multiple requests for quotes prior to purchasing fabric and even thereafter, I had not received any paperwork until after the Fabric was purchased.Beyond the paperwork mess, which hadn't been sorted through until months after I started working with Trish, I found it VERY DIFFICULT communicate with her. While I tried to remain patient with her, and her process, I look back to the photos I took after each consultation and the dress differs very little from her original idea. A few things I had asked for and her responses during the consultation process: 1) Thinner straps on the top& Neckline - she had talked to me about the integrity of the garment and how we were unable to do thin straps, as the top would shift, although I had acknowledged that I was aware of this, and continued multiple times to ask in person as well in email - even referencing the inspiration photo- she said she was only able to do so much without charging me extra as a style change versus a fit change. Not only was this really disappointing to me, as I had mentioned this various times throughout the process and before my third or fourth fitting (which had been explained to me was the consultation in which the style would be finalized) however this was also very frustrating to me as I tried to communicate with her my style preference in various ways and she did not seem to want to listen to what I wanted. 2) A third layer in the top and in the skirt. - When I had requested this during my second consultation and had addressed it as my concern that both the skirt and top were too sheer, that I was nervous about showing too much, especially after I had seen how white panties had looked underneath the skirt, Trish had told me that a third layer would change the shape of the top, and as well that there was no more fabric to add a third layer into the skirt. If that were true, I would have understood, and left it, however when I arrived for my third consultation Trish had given me a shawl as a gift she had made. This made me incredibly angry as I had never once requested a shawl nor did I even use it on the wedding day, instead, what i had requested was a third layer in my skirt, and I was lied to regarding the extra fabric. Beyond having to argue with Trish to see the changes I wanted made through out the whole process, and even having to bring a friend to back me up, Trish also said alot of really inappropriate things to me. She at one point told me my dress would be beautiful and it was going to look just like a Sari, this was seriously offensive as I am Korean, not Indian. As well through out the whole process she body shamed me, and made it a point to tell me to Eat, as well as letting me know that she thought thin brides were unattractive brides. (mind you nutrition is one of my hobbies and I do eat an excessive amount of food) I feel that Trish working in the custom clothing industry should make it a point to understand peoples bodies, instead of making rude comments and shaming them. Again I give Trish a one star, and do not recommend her to anybody. she pretty well did what she wanted, did not take direction, was rude, and difficult.

For more than three decades we have pursued excellence in our work and honest clarity with our clients. A clients misunderstanding does not negate these concepts or our principles. Our policy has always been to quote a probable range and be as respectful of our clients dollars as we are of our own. We never exceed our range quotes without consulting our clients as to their preferences. In this instance, we were in the lower half of our quote range, and were quite shocked to be called deceitful. We notice that there is no mention of displeasure with the quality of the work. We are confident that the client received excellent work and advice at a very reasonable price.

I recently had my wedding dress altered by Trish. I felt that the pricing was very deceitful. I was given a VERY wide price range for the expected cost of alterations. I was requested to make a deposit on my initial fitting and was told if the price changed I would be informed. Four fittings later I was never given any indication that the price of my alterations was increasing until my final fitting when I was informed I had a balance due that was much larger than the originally established price - for a hem and bustle - nothing fancy was done nor added to the dress. I would not recommend this business to any of my family or friends.
