Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you were disappointed. We will be scheduling updates there soon. It is an older, rustic cabin built in early 1970's and the owners planted over 5,000 pine trees on the property with 83 acres of trails and open meadows for wildlife. I hope you were able to enjoy those trails and the Hocking Hills experience.

I booked the A frame for a girls weekend and after having other great experiences from different cabins I was expect more. You are definitely paying for the location to be near hocking hills, but other than that I was so disappointed with our experience. I recommend you bring all your own cooking equipment, they only had one sharp knife in which the handle was broken. The place looked better via images, the whole cabin felt icky like things weren't taken care of and not to sound crazy but definitely felt haunted. We looked at the guest book and their were pages torn out, someone used it to kill mouths, and overall just unimpressed. The check in process is out dated, you have to go to an office when literally you can switch to remote check in. This added time onto our drive which was pointless. The directions say not to follow your GPS, if you use WAZE it will take you there no problem. After taking to the girls they give me no benefit to rebook with Lazy Cabins LLC. For the price we paid we could have done so much better.
We stayed at The Blue Jay cabin. I found that there were little things that I felt should've been caught. The dining table was loose and wobbly. The couch was dirty under the cushions. (Vacuuming) The lamps by bed were loose and wobbly. The bathroom was very clean. The Hot Tub was well maintained. We did enjoy the cabin.
Thank you so much! We are glad to hear you are coming back to visit!

We stayed at sugar ridge last year around aug. and we loved it! After we left Ive been anticipating revisiting! Seriously though.. I feel bad for the people that didnt have a good time here. It must take a lot to make some ppl happy.. we all know this XD. Anyways beautiful place, great value, clean, beds made, no rust, hot tub clean and ready to go, spacious, very nice job! Already booked another stay in July and this time were staying for a extra night! No complaints.
I'm glad you enjoyed Enchanted Eve. The review for Hocking Valley Scenic Railway has nothing to do with Lazy Lane Cabins. Thank you for your comments.

We stayed in Enchanted Eve for 5 days, the cabin is well equipped with everything needed to accommodate a party of up to 6 people. We enjoyed the peace and quiet while there as well as the wildlife. Only downfall was construction going on up the hill and one day it lasted til almost dark. We were stuck inside for 2 days due to the weather but we found things to occupy us and eventually made our way to the trails of ash cave and old mans cave. Was very disappointed with the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway tour. I dont consider passing by run down properties and dogs chained up chasing after the train scenic. They take you one direction for a bit, stop hook up at other end and travel back. They stop at a small area set up to resemble pioneers. You have 30 minutes to walk and try to take in all the small buildings ( which do to so many people) we only made it inside 2. The cabin does need a good deep cleaning and a few screens replaced due to holes. I would recommend lazy lane cabins!!!
