The doctors were great! The staff while i was attentive. But the staff who handles emails, texts when ordering glasses to try out needs work. No one checks the emails. Better to text they said. ok. They are nice but lack initiative. My issue is trying to find glasses I like. They have a very limited selection. If you see something you like but different color frame they can try to see if their supplier has it. I had my eye exam in the beginning of January and I still don't have glasses.its now Feb. I had some ordered through their supplier to try on. They NEVER called or texted me to tell me they had them in. At least at the last place i went to i go an alert saying they were in and to come on in. Then the person who handles ordering glasses told me if i have any other glasses i want to look at from another company I would have to pay a shipping fee. Never heard that in my whole experience getting glasses for 20+ years. I'm going to go to the last place i got glasses bc they had to order glasses for me straight from the rayban site and they never asked me to pay a shipping fee. As for Kids if your on Medicaid they do take it but they will pull out a tray from the desk of selected glasses. Its a convenient place location. Small office. Personable. But again don't have glasses and its been over a month since my exam.

The Dr is excellent, staff is super friendly...the only complaint I could possibly throw out there is that after my exam was completed and I was led to the office to look for frames, initially someone on staff picked out frames for me to try on instead of me picking them out myself....I ended up leaving and coming back a couple days later and looked around myself for my own frames and found a pair I liked...I would still highly recommend Northside for efficient and friendly visits.
