Do NOT get the old fashioned at the bar. Not worth it like the other review mentions. It tastes like watered down bourbon. It honestly could have used more simple syrup and bitters. The guys in the gift shop were amazing though. The guy running the samples was very informative. The cashier guy was awesome to talk with regarding various bourbons to use in different drinks and even offered to sample a different bottle. Would love to come back and do the tour!
Nice destination with 3 levels and bar/tasting room. Had them make an old fashioned but they apparently do not mash like we do in Wisconsin so the $15 drink is not much to be desired
What horrible customer service and reservation team. I was looking to book a tour on 10/23 and reached out 3 months in advance to book a tasting with some friends. I was told that they are not booking more than 14 days out and to wait until 10/8 to book. Okay, no problem. I email them a week before on 10/1 asking if I could reserve a spot and was told I still needed to wait until 10/8 and that the reservation slots would open at 3am. Okay, still good. I wake up at 2:55am this morning (10/8) and try to reserve spots and everything is booked. Upon emailing them about open slots, thinking there was a glitch in the website, I was told that they were all booked. When I inquired as to how that is possible, as I was told 3am is when they were opened to the public and checked at 2:55am, I was told that people had booked the dates prior to 10/8. When I asked how that was possible since I was told TWICE that all tastings must be made through the website on 10/8, I was told "sorry for the inconvenience". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What a freaking joke. I would give negative stars if possible.
