It should be renamed to Fairmont OLD Princess. Dilapidated old place. Also, dont worry about sleeping-in here: they start the gas powered blowers outside your window bright and early. Unbelievable. Want good food? Skip La Hacienda. We were here about a year ago and it was bad. Tonight: still bad. Had great food at Mr. Mesquite Tacos. Update: And the hits keep on coming: ironwood cant cook a burger without making it gray (so overdone) and raw chicken on a salad! Whose running this place??? But wait, theres more. One of us has hypertension and has to have decaf coffee only. Well Fairmont put CAFFEINATED coffees in the location for DECAF. See photos. Blood pressure and chest pains skyrocketed. This place it out of control!

Insanely overpriced. I can't believe this is a 5 star hotel. $1k a night for.. No breakfast. Confusing and annoying gated parking. No sidewalks. I got yelled at by a lady while walking to our room for being on the road. The room only looks nice but actually has horrible craftsmanship. Latches on doors are falling apart. Sliding heavy doors are loud, difficult to use and don't close all the way (no privacy). One hook for a towel in the bathroom for a room made for a family of 4. One hook! They didn't think about the practical aspects of a traveler in the slightest and it was clearly built in a hurry to look upscale and nothing more. The location is not near anything of interest by foot. Even with the golf carts you can taxi on you're still too far away from any cultural interests or hiking etc. If you think this is a nice place to stay we're not from the same planet. Maybe you're a golf pro with millions of dollars to waste and think staff that are nice to your face really like you. I assure you, no one who works here actually likes you and who could blame them. This review is brought to you by Costco, who swindles people into buying overpriced fake vacation packages. Shame on them and shame on me for being a part of this soulless machine. If the rooms were one tenth the price and includes a simple breakfast and coffee, I'd give it 4 stars. 2 stars for the staff, who deserve better.

Overrated, overcrowded and overpriced. Nothing but issues with this stay. Room was a very odd shape wth one bed literally in the hallway. The food at the main restaurant (Ironwood) was terrible and not at all a Fairmont standard. I rang and spoke with Food & Beverage Manager who said they would look into it but didn't resolve the issues. The spa was lovely but overcrowded and 2 of our treatments were cancelled and had to be rescheduled. On checkout they asked me how was the stay and when I said not good, they commented "oh that's great" - they weren't even listening. I cannot recommend this hotel which is disappointing as we normally enjoy our stays at Fairmont properties.
