First time in donkey years we've had a meal from superfish. We had high expectations reading all the fantastic reviews. We had a takeaway of large cod & chips and mushy peas and it tasted awful. The worst I think I've ever had. The mushy peas I couldn't taste the peas just tasted of salt, the fish was very thin portain hardly any fish on it mostly skin and the chips weren't fresh and half weren't edible. I won't be coming back here again. Very disappointed.

Wonderful place. You are given a complimentary starter of cold shrimp and warm crusty bread which was a nice touch. I had the haddock and chips which was excellent. The batter was light (made the Yorkshire way with beef dripping and the fish was melt-in-the-mouth and the chips for ere delicious too.

Dont be fooled by the picture of cod and chips on the webpage, this is not what you get from here, i travelled here today from miles away especially because of the tempting pictures, and i got dark over cooked chips that were not real, looked like they were frozen out of a bag from tescos, and the worst part was the thin, flat dark over cooked cod, that was also frozen and not thick and fresh like in the pictures, really poor attempt at what should have been as described on there own webpage, friendly man serving but boy does he need a role model.
