I arrived 20 minutes early for my routine eye exam appointment and they turned me away because they could not figure out my insurance. An optometrist who cannot figure out how to properly bill an insurance company (Tricare West, which must be pretty common with all the military families in the area) is definitely NOT one that I would recommend visiting. After speaking with Tricare myself when I got back to the car, they told me that there is no reason why my appointment today should not be covered. I called the office back with this information and waited on hold for ten minutes while they tried to figure out the billing issue. At this point, they started talking about having to reschedule my appointment time for another day because of their mistake. I would NOT recommend visiting this office!
