My experience with the intake specialist was wonderful - she was caring, attentive and clearly doing her best to run a compassion-informed practice. The doctor was kind, but I felt very rushed - there was also another woman in the room who was never introduced to me, which made me uncomfortable. The two stars go to the receptionist whom I encountered at the end of my visit - which itself was a stark contrast to the service Id received upon arriving. First, she kept trying to tell me that my visit was over - when I hadnt even received my prescription. Once the prescription was printed, it was all but thrown at me, with no care taken to explain what any of it meant. I asked her what OD / OS meant and she answered as if I were an idiot. When I pressed about what the letters stood for she tried to intimidate me by saying theyre a Latin derivative blah blah, extremely long words blah blah, but it means left and right - they are Ocular Dextrus and Ocular Sinister. Hardly long words. She left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have always had a positive experience at this office but this year so was looking for an eye doctors office that wasnt so small and dated. I waited until the last minute so I ended up going back to Today's Vision River Oaks and I am so glad I did! The office has been renovated and updated to have a more open, modern and clean feel, with new and modern equipment. Its exactly what I was looking for. Drs. Nguyen and Jenkins are both very thorough and personable. I enjoyed my exam, no need for me to look any further!

I've had blurriness when trying to read my cell phone for the past two years. No one has ever been able to get me to see well in glasses without making me feel dizzy and uncomfortable. The first time I wore the progressive glasses I got from Dr R. it fits like a glove. I had to call and tell them! No dizziness, no nausea, just clarity. Thank you Dr R and Today's Vision River Oaks for taking such good care of me.
