I am sorry you remain confused by this process. As we explained beginning in February, five months after we completed services, we waited to invoice you until your carrier confirmed coverage. This was to protect you. In February, your carrier informed us it had already paid you our invoice amount in full. The adjuster explained this to you as well. Three different times you said you understood and payment would be forthcoming. There were no disputes, only explanations; every item in our invoice is accounted for and reviewed by the carrier. When you made us aware the meter was never replaced and UI was asking for an inspection, we provided an inspection at our cost on your word you would pay us in full once completed. You did not pay us. We sold your receivable and there the matter lies.

I rarely will post a negative review. CRS handled our property damage after the tornado of 2020. Their electrician failed to obtain the necessary permit for the work he did which resulted in us not getting our UI meter installed till over one year later. There was also honest questions that we had as the homeowner as to their terrible bookkeeping and billing as they never sent us itemized bills for over one year. They are now suing us for an honest dispute and refusing to answer the most basic questions that we have asked to clarify the situation. We have repeatedly told CRS we wish to settle this and we have received nothing but threatening emails and now collection harassment. We have lived and ministered in this community for over 16 years formed many lasting relationships with businesses both person and through our church. We have sought to always hold the highest standards of integrity and honesty. Sadly I post this to warn and inform others of what they may encounter if they use CRS North Haven Very disappointed in the response here from CRS.. (see below) never was the issue of work not completed ever addressed buyer beware!!!!!

Mr. Simon, We have spoken with you many times regarding work we did at your mothers house and for which she signed off in September. I am disappointed that you are not happy with the outcome of the work, because we have gone above and beyond to provide you with superior quality materials and workmanship. We subsequently addressed the punch list items as we always do. At no point have we walked away or stopped working.

They were good about starting the job and working with the insurance company but, unfortunately come to find out the workmanship was mediocre and they left things unfinished. Once they received the final payment from insurance they stopped working. After numerous attempts to contact them they would not call back or show. Have been sending pictures of unfinished work for months and left many unanswered messages and texts for manager and even the owner. No gutters installed, wrong cabinets and broken shelves never fixed. Drywall left unfinished and shingles missing They promise to finish work after signing papers but did not. They respond to reviews but still no finished work or a return call. Consider yourself warned.

CRS is committed, flexible, patient, kind, supportive and highly skilled. If you choose this company, I guarantee you will be pleased! If you wantread my storyyou will clearly identify the high expertise this company promises. My reconstruction journey! My home is 102 years old. I bought it 51/2 years ago and immediately began renovating it. However, I started to notice in the last year leakage from the roof into my office. I hired what I believed to be a reputable man to fix the problem. He took pictures and showed the major damage due to rain and wind. He assured me he could fix the problem. Five thousand dollars later, he made it worse. The water leaking into my office required multiple bins filling up, as I have never witnessed. Next, my lovely bead board porch ceiling began to leak. Soon, I noticed significant warping of the ceiling. Another man comes and patches the porch roof, with different tiles, which did not match. He did it for free and had the best intentions, but I couldnt even look at the roof. It looked awful because it was two different tile colors. Therefore, each time it rains the damage and leaks increase. I call my insurance company and they send an adjuster out. He was young, kind and patient. It was evident that he did not feel the damage would be covered. This definitely stunned me. The damage was obviously due to weather. I contact Joe Gibertoni, the general manager of CRS (Connecticut Reconstruction Services). Joe comes out and does a walk around the house inside and out. He clearly believes, it should be covered. Joe contacts my insurance company and two claims are put in writing. The insurance company clearly respects Joe and his expertise. I would not have known what to do. I am a single women, very competent, but this is foreign waters to me. Joe now takes over. Joe comes to my home with Chris Galli, explains everything and we sign lots of paperwork and the process begins. What I love about Joe is he explains everything in nonprofessionals terms. He respects me and reassures me that everything will be taken care of by his highly skilled team. He leaves, my anxiety is gone and I trust him completely. Chris Galli, is the project manager for CRS. He becomes an integral part of my world for the next couple of months. He gives me his number so I can text him anytime. Im not sure, he could predict how many texts he would receive, but he answered each one with patience and reassurance. Once again, my anxiety is gone and I know I have an expert team working on the home I love. The tear off two layers of roof and put on the new beautiful black shingles. The house looks magnificent from the road. The new roof is striking! Next, the porch ceiling. Their team not only fixed the porch ceiling, but also painted a few other areas that needed it. I was so grateful and impressed. Finally, my office. The damage is substantial. They were able to save ½ of the 1919 ceiling and match the other side perfectly. I decide to paint the ceiling blue and it looks gorgeous. The rug is removed and replaced. The back gutter is replaced. My home is finished. I cannot state this enough. CRS cares about their clients. They are committed and build a strong team to make sure everything is done perfectly. If there are any bumps along the way, they take care of it.
