Customer service is not their specialty. First let me layout my situation. My daughter misplaced her 5th grade t shirt, after spending a weekend turning the house upside down looking for it I took her teacher's advice and called Ray to see if he would make her one. Totally understanding that ordering one shirt from them is a special request that could be denied or charged extra, and I was totally fine either way. Let me also say the gentlemen who first answered the phone is very kind and respectful. So, the request was to make one shirt, in one day. Annoying, I know. At 8:30 a.m. I make the first call. From the beginning, Ray sounds annoyed that I'm even calling...understandable it is a Monday. He states that he will have to see if they even have the shirt available, but that he will give me a call back to let me know. At 11:00 a.m. I decide to call back and check status on if it's a go or not. He is summoned to the phone and proceeds to rudely tell me, "why are you calling back? Didn't I tell you I would call you if we could getter done? Was I supposed to do something different?" Now, it's not rocket science but I don't think that's how you should respond to a customer... My perspective is that I knew this was a bit of an annoying request for a whole sale dealer, but none the less as a human with some compassion and a future business owner, I would not ever allow for me nor anyone working for me to speak to customers in this manner. Potential or establiahed. It's just not kind and we need more kindness in this world. I'll be sticking to Kong Screenprinting based in Austin for my future needs, where they provide outstanding customer service and quality printing. Thank you Ray and I honestly hope your day gets better!
I'm very disappointed. Three weeks ago I placed an order for about 20 shirts to be ready at the latest by yesterday and they can't even make the order by today so I had to cancel. I followed up several times asking if they would still be ready and never got any red flags until yesterday around noon. They finally said they wouldn't have the shirts done and asked if I could pick them up today, I replied I couldn't but could find someone else to. They replied they could deliver them before 4 PM since they didn't make the date they promised, but once again failed on that promise. After calling them multiple times saying that our club was leaving on the trip tomorrow and we needed them today (after when they promised), I received wishy washy answers that they "would do what they could" and said I could not pay for the shirts if they weren't done today. It wasn't until about an hour ago that I called back, saying I could have someone pick them up, they said they took that as me cancelling my order, without even letting me know they couldn't make the backup deadline. My whole team is very disappointed, especially since a lot of time went into designing the shirts we were going to wear for the national tournament. I will find better business elsewhere.
This place is the place to go. It was my first time ordering shirts and it was a bit overwhelming, especially with not knowing where to start. I called around, but in the end this place was the most affordable. Not only did they complete the order at the last minute, but they did it with me submitting what I wanted with a simple email. It really helped when they were quick and prompt to get back with me on what the shirts would look like based on what I requested by email. I am definitely going back in the future and highly recommend them.
They were quick to get a quote back, and even quicker for getting the shirts done. I dropped off a shirt we already had on Thursday, and they emailed today that they were done. The price was very reasonable, communication was great, and the shirts look awesome! Will be back! ~NGTX
I am unsure how they've gotten more than one star or to be honest how they are still in business. I sent an email with an image to request a quote and received a response that looked like it had been written by a child with an old Blackberry. No punctuation, no greeting- just 'let me see the design you want to get embroideried' (no spell check either) I called the next day to verify Ray had received it. He answered the phone with an unprofessional 'hello.' I asked how he was and he said 'busy. Call back.' and hung up on me. A quick Google search shows 16 other *professional* embroiderers within easy driving distance of 'Big T's' who will very likely be more appreciative of your business.
