I just reached out to this firm because I have a legal matter that I need the assistance of an attorney with. I wanted to specifically support this firm as I would prefer to hire an African American lawyer. While I'm not sure who answered the phone, they were extremely rude and unprofessional. The representative said hello after I said hi and started to explain my situation as if she didn't hear me and with an attitude as if I was disturbing something she was doing by calling. I am a supporter of Black owned business but not at the expense of poor customer service. Response to Owner's Repose: It was this firm and not one in Georgia.

Hired Nicole for a custody case. Spoke to her maybe twice over the course of 7 months. The rest of the time I was passed to someone else: 5-6 missed conference calls. No return calls I had to chase someone down to have quick conversations The one time Nicole came to a hearing I felt as if she wasnt prepared Received court documents late or after the motion had already started Paralegals: one telling me my financials were good, the other calling me and billing me another 275$ for financial questions Came late to the last hearing Didnt get to debrief until days after hearing The list goes on. I really wanted to work with an African American firm and even though I didnt feel like they did a good job I still thanked them. Do you think anyone in the firm responded? Nope. Glad its over. Just want my retainer but so I can move on. UPDATE: STILL NO RESPONSE. No one has called me since their response. Why make the comment if youre not going to follow through?

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Nicole Bluefort and her practice. I was recommended Nicole by prominent lawyer in the MA area and I believe Attorney Bluefort used my connection as an excuse to price gauge and overcharge me for counsel. Being charged with a crime is traumatizing enough. I hired an attorney in a rush, hoping this would offer me the chance to speak my truth and have this case resolved immediately. Not only did Nicole Blufort tell me that the judge would not care about the circumstances surrounding my case, but she refused to mention very important evidence during the most critical moments. Nicole blufort was unorganized and has bad time management skills which ultimately lead me to accepting a deal that was not in my best interest. I now have to return to court on my own and ask the judge to reopen my case without her. Nicole demanded a retainer of close to $8,000 before my first hearing. Nicole only appeared at two court dates with me. Nicole was extremely late for both appearances, one court date she was over 2 hours late then billed me for that time(almost $1,000). Also for both court dates Nicole waited til the very last minute to request that the court appearances be rescheduled due to her schedule. These were examples of how little respect she had for me as her client, or my personal time. Nicole frequently billed my retainer $400 for 1 hour of reviewing my file. Nicole was fluffing my bill and automatically charging me every few days for file review. Multiple times Nicole spent 5-10 minutes on the phone with me, loading her computer and searching for my file, reviewing it over the phone as we spoke. She was not familiar with most of the information. Nicole billed my retainer while she reviewed the same few pages any time she forgot or misplaced them. I also noticed an automatic bill of 1 hour work each time I paid a portion of my retainer. Example: I paid $500 on the 1st of April , by the next morning I would be charged $400 for file review. Nicole clearly did not review my file as often as she billed me for. This was reflected in the lack of information she had about my case each time we spoke, and the fact that we had not technically began court proceedings. There was very little information for her to review. After weeks of stressful back and forth communication, Nicole bluefort refunded me a significant amount of my retainer, she also waived the $900 bill she added for arriving late to court. I would like to say that it is disheartening to feel taken advantage of. I do believe I would have been better off in many ways, if I had not hired Nicole Bluefort as my attorney in 2022.
