How sad? Nobody in Atlanta would do this customer's event. She did come to us last minute and our mgr worked out a payment arrangement for her. How do come last minute and you still don't have all of your $$?? They didn't adhere to the payment arrangement and paid for the event 2 days before the event. A-list Affairs thrives on customer service! It's why we are booked all the way through 2019. This customer came hours after her event started. To ensure she and her intermediate family ate, we waited to replenish their buffet until after the host arrived. We knew how important the food was to her. She was over satisfied with the event! She and the child's father praised our mgr. on the day of. I was there! Her mother packed up the food and took it for her. All of the dessert vendors and the designs are ours. No one from A-list Affairs is going to pack up desserts. If we never see another dessert, it will be too soon. The truth of the matter, this customer lost $300 in an envelope. She felt she dropped it at the event. Since, she misplaced it, she contacted our mgr and demanded that we replace it. Any person with common sense knows we are not going to do that. It really is sad that legally we could have cancelled this customer's event and she would have loss her money. Instead we gave her an " over the top" baby shower and she is online making false accusations. We are not sorry for delivering a beautiful, five star baby shower for this customer. It just teaches us the horrible lesson that you can't help everyone.

I had a baby shower hosted by Ms. Daniels. Terrible! Terrible. When I say terrible.. smh. We paid for a all inclusive event, food, decor, open bar. The rice and cabbage were dry and tasteless, and the chicken ran out for more than half the event. She responded to this by saying I wasnt there so how would I know(not true, I showed up when the majority of my guests arrived and was present the entire time). At the end of the event there was still a table of desserts which she packed up for herself and gave me a SMALL sample of everything that was left. One thing I did appreciate, The decor was nice and we were booking our event last minute so we set up a payment arrangement with her(still payed everything off before the event). But over all her customer service is terrible! Multiple of my guests complained that Ms. Daniels was rude to them and she responded to this by saying my guests were drunk and she handled them accordingly. Again not true! Infact all my friends that brought this to my attention had NOTHING TO DRINK! I was disappointed in the event but more in how she responded to my complaints. It was really unprofessional and I would advise future customers to not deal with Ms. Daniels period. I say that to say WE WENT OUT BAD!!!
Francine, it is always our expectations that every guest experience an A-list Affair with every event that we do. Unfortunately, the guests of the event are not involved in the planning process. This happens weeks, months and sometimes over a year leading up to your actual event. The clients selected their menu. The clients also derive a timeline & itinerary for the day. Even though chicken nuggets were not at your event, the client did select chicken 'n waffles. Food services were provided by a Classically trained Le Cordon Bleu Chef to Atlanta's Elite & Celebrities. Even though the client didn't purchase desserts, A-list provided over 8 options complimentary and there weren't any store bought brownies amongst those 8 options. A-list also provided Gold Diamond Glass Top Serpentine Tables Complimentary for guests to eat on. As guests come and go, the evidence of their presence is going to show up on glass & mirror. All items are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly pre & post event. Unfortunately, we aren't able to do our sanitizing process in front of guests. We too have a limited time at every location. There is no 1 person who sets up an event. It takes a whole team! The team was finished with the setup at 1220pm. Guests were permitted into the building when the client allowed. They also were permitted to eat when the client allowed. Unfortunately, that wasn't until hours after the event started and it definitely affected the quality of the food. Please, know it wasn't our decision. The clients provided their own host. That didn't come from A-list. The person in charge from our company was at venue for setup & breakdown only. They had a team of people/vendors. We sincerely apologize if the staff member brought offense by saying something out of humor. We definitely like to operate in love & light. At no time were they trying to be disrespectful by joking with a guest. The clients preselected to host a cocktail hr prior to seated brunch. During this time, the gentlemen was setting the air purifiers on in the brunch area. We don't want any guests to contaminate any area until those are activated. This ensures you are mingling in a safe environment where impurities are captured into the purifiers. This was already discussed through planning process. We are a premium company & and operations are going to always be with what's in the best interest of our clients, guests & staff!

I attended an event yesterday and it was horrible. A List Affairs should be renamed D List Affairs because it was far from an A list event. Where do I start? The lady, the owner, the freaking party coordinator was RUDE to my mom. My mom was trying to ask a question and she said in a jokingly way What do you want lady... UNACCEPTABLE. The food was disgusting. Who provides chicken nuggets at an A List event?! The decor was nice but dirty. Like everything had smeared fingerprints and smudges everywhere. It was obvious that the decor wasnt cleaned. She just packs it up after every event. The dessert table was a joke. A JOKE. There were brownies from the grocery store on the decor table. Nothing was custom made/home made. She did indeed make us stand outside for 30 minutes because they were still setting up. Event started at 1, we were let in the venue at 1:30. When we got inside the venue we still werent allowed to sit down. We had to wait because she was still setting up. We were even asked to move while we were taking photos because she was still setting up. She was putting the custom name tags on the plates. (Those were really nice). Bottom line, this company is good for first time people who are trying to have an event but has never experienced what a real luxury event looks like. Book elsewhere.
Such an honor and a joy to assist you in the celebration of your day! We can't wait to host you, again!!!

Absolutely Amazing! Ms. Daniels brought all my ideas to life and ensured I had a wonderful birthday celebration! The venue was decorated beautifully with such great detail. The food was amazing and my guests raved about it the entire night and even after. I was completely satisfied! I will definitely be using them again for future events!
We adored hosting your group. It was soooooo much fun! We can't wait to host you next year. Bigger and better each time is our motto.

A-List did a phenomenal job with creating a wonderful and memorable holiday party for my company! The food was great and the decor was beautiful. They were wonderful and easy to work with especially with planning for the event beginning only two months prior! It was great!
It saddens us that your experience was anything less than Exceptional. Let's get a few of the facts corrected. Your event was $7855. You were told in writing and verbally that it was a discounted rate because of the referral. Your decor alone was $3000! There were 4 different women in charge of different things on your event. The person who you worked with was at your event for set up and breakdown only. They didn't have interaction with your guests. However, if any vendor or staff member were rude to you or your guests in any capacity, we sincerely apologize. A-list provides optimum service on every occasion. Our expectation from our vendors are the same. You buffet was up and ready at the start of your event. Because you elected to arrive 2.5hrs late to your event, you guests were delayed in partaking in your brunch. This was at your request. Your caterer exhausted their time at the event and had to leave because you didn't permit your buffet to open until 45 more mins! Please, understand this affects the quality of your food. Your guests arrived to venue early. They were told what time the event started and had to wait outside until that time. No one was rude. This is to protect your liability. It is clear that you and your fiancé didn't have a bad experience from working directly with our staff. It is unclear why you had a gorgeous event but, allowed others to come post event and cause your experience to be reduced without speaking with your rep for accuracy. Please, give us a call and let us know what we can do to make your experience better. In the meantime, Congratulations on your engagement!

Wow, she lied in her response below! There was only 1 woman in contact with me and my guests the entire time. I chose not to reveal her name in my review. Also the price we paid was the price quoted to us by the venue who referred us. Me being late didnt interrupt anything since my fiancé plus host carried the party on! I didnt want to leave this negative review but after receiving so many complaints from my engagement party guests, I had to. I was recommended to A List Affairs by The Marke Venue after we told the venue rep how much we wanted to spend. We sent payment on time according to contract agreements and sent over everything she requested to make sure our party would be set. Along the way, I felt I was not receiving the best communication from A List Affairs so I expressed my concerns. On the day of the event, A List Affairs was completely rude and nasty to my guests. The main and only woman in charge, who is the same one I had been working with the entire time, had my guests waiting outside for 30 minutes without reason. Almost everyone had something bad to say about how she spoke to them on separate occasions throughout the event. To top it off, everyone said the brunch food was horrible and tasted like microwaved freezer food. The shrimp and grits was the only decent item. It was a brunch party so food was important. The decor and overall look of the event was beautiful and I expressed this to the main woman in charge. But poor and nasty customer service toward our families who traveled across the country for one of the most important days is unacceptable. Id hate for another couple to experience this. Book someone who will show appreciation for your business by providing good service. Hated to have to leave this review since I never do but I did communicate how important good service was to my fiancé and I. She decided to be rude and borderline disrespectful. She obviously didnt care. However, she did provide complimentary desserts and pictures with nice frames for us. We paid 3500 which was her full price. No favors were done. Thanks for planning our engagement party but the poor treatment to our guests outweighed everything.
