If I could give this place a 0, I would. But thats not possible, so I give it a 1. This is the most unorganized unprofessional business I have ever encountered. Management is TERRIBLE and is run by people no older than the age of 30, and those who are older sure dont act like it. If you are looking for a job, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT work here. Every single employee that has worked there recently got let go for management issues that were out of the employees control. You would think a clothing store in collegetown wouldnt have so many issues but you would be astonished. If you are in town or are student that goes to Florida State, do me a favor and purchase FSU merchandise at any other store and make this the LAST place you shop at.
NEVER WORK HERE!! Yeah it was really easy because the store was also dead but I did not receive my first paycheck until at least two months after I started working. Management was not good but it was corporate that was absolutely horrible for me. They started charging $5 and $10 extra for cut and bleached shirts that went to barefoot but the employees were doing all of the work and being paid minimum wage when paid at all. They make everyone a keyholder and there was an issue with stealing because of this. Managers rarely closed and the associates would open and close themselves sometimes. At the beginning of the school year there were probably 25 employees and would 5 employees working a shift and send 3 or sometimes 4 of them home an hour or two into the shift. Corporate wanted at least 10 employees working on game days which was excessive since there would be FIVE employees standing at the door as greeters. Corporate would also change protocol all the time making it confusing as to what we were actually supposed to be doing.
Hi John! Thanks for the review! We hope you enjoyed the place.

I visited the store before the men's basketball game vs. Clemson last night. I was impressed with some of the different shirt designs the store has. I was greeted at the door by a super nice staff member who also was able to help me navigate the store.
Where do I start. I worked at this establishment for a little while and along the way I can definitively say it was not a pleasant time. As a worker, the scheduling was all over the place, and the management of that particular location was the worst I have ever experienced. Unorganized is an understatement when it came to how things operated around there. Just when I thought the manager didnt care about their sales associates, the real puppet master was reviled as I witnessed corporate perform one of the most inconsiderate actions I have ever seen. There is no more manager at barefoot, and along with her no longer with the company, they let go all of their sales associates, over the phone, with little to none explanation, and no good reasoning. They were in desperate need of workers just 6 months prior, and for the sales associates to be let go with no reasoning 6 months later, after they bailed this company out, shows how inconsiderate and unruly this company truly is. This company is too big to have such a terrible corporate. It is a shame that college students have to deal with such a terribly ran company so early in their professional careers. I hope barefoot can grow from this, and not make the same mistake they have time and time again.
