Hello Tristan, first let me start by saying thank you for your review. Feed back is very important us however I am sorry about your experience here at ARThentic. With that being said we are sorry you feel the way you do about our prices. Which is $20 for a fade, $25 Fade/ W Goatee and $30 Fade / W Beard with is average and fair prices. However you did make a choice to sit down and get your haircut when the prices where on the board where you can see before services was provided to you. If our prices was not feasible for you, you did have a choice to stay or leave but you chose to stay. Don't really believe we deserve a 1 star just because you feel as though our prices where not suitable for you. God bless and have a good day.

Not worth it. Great location and great size salon. However, the service was well over priced and advertised. Definitely wasn't what I expected.

New update not this Barber is definitely no longer here with ARThentic. We are sorry for your experience with this Barber but that is not how we do business here at ARThentic. We are sorry for this and the inconvenience this may have caused. Please allow us to make this right. Unfortunately is was doing COVID and our shop took a big hit and was lacking Barbers and other things. Please like us make it right for you.

So I'm not even sure if this particular barber they have is even licensed, I don't think he is, but when trying a new barber, you need to tell them what you want and like, even if it takes multiple cuts. So I go to him the first time, tell him I want a drop fade with the top longer... he proceeds to cut it, but then at the end of the cut when I want the upper sides lowered, he is offended and says it looks fine just gel it down, I insist he cut it so he does, it looks OK.... the next appointment, he starts telling me that if I'm gonna pay with card it's 2 dollars extra because of his fees... the 3rd and final appointment, he sits me down, has his coworker (barber) sit right in front of us and tells me I'm too particular and had his coworker watch the whole haircut. And then he charged me again for a credit card fee.... plus, I had to argue to get the sides cut right.... that's why I'll never go back

Stephen is an amazing barber. He is very detailed oriented. Makes you feel comfortable. Has a great environment for children. Is a one stop shop for all your hair and facial needs. Would recommend everyone I know to visit his shop. Very affordable. A one of a kind shop.

I've taken my son here to get his hair cut and braided. They did a great job! My son even noticed that everybody seemed to love what they do. It's a great atmosphere and everybody is very friendly. We will continue to make a 30 minute drive to come here.

I got there at 5:25 or so. I know they close at 6. There was only one employee there who was finishing another mans haircut, and I asked for a wash and cut. The man said he couldnt do a wash because the salon was closed. That was fine, I said just a cut was fine. I showed him a picture of how my hair shrinks slightly/curls and looks when it dries, to express I wanted it cut just half an inch to an inch below my shoulders so when it dried after washing it would be just over my shoulders. He said that was fine and began to cut. When he turned me around, I was a little scared. He had cut my hair when it was mostly dry, just a little damp (Id had it in Dutch braids so when it was brushed out it was pretty frizzy and straight). It looked really choppy. I didnt ask for layers or thinning, just a one length cut. After that, he said yknow, you wanna wash it? I agreed and he washed my hair. My curl pattern came back so it didnt look as bad, but it was still 2-3 inches longer than Id asked for. Then I was charged $95. I was shocked. At great clips, I could get shampooed, conditioned, cut and styled for about $40. I didnt have $95 so I gave him what I had, which was $60 in cash and all $24 I had on my card. I felt bad because I wanted to tip, and wasnt expecting a cut and wash to be nearly $100. Ill be getting it fixed elsewhere when I get paid again. I will say the shop was nice and the employee was nice, but $95 for 2 services that werent performed at a level Ive experienced at even Great Clips was a bit disheartening. I wouldve been fine if he said he didnt usually cut womens hair and was asked to come back when the salon was open.
