Thank you for leaving a rating. Were sorry to hear you had a bad experience: however, we cannot offer any assistance or resolutions without details, and furthermore we can find no record of any residents matching your name or details. Jesse who you are speaking about is not a maintenance person within this company, he does not work for Eastman Property Management he is however the owner of Eastman Property Services. If you wish, please contact us directly to discuss your issue and we will try our best to help resolve it for you.

These scammers should spend more time on properly managing properties honestly instead of writing/having fake reviews written for them. This is a questionable business with questionable business practices. Jesse is a flagrant liar and an underhanded shortcut taking maintenance person who ignores requests. Lindsey is a clear question mark like Kayleigh McEnany who defends her superior at all costs. Buyer beware. It'll be like the walls of Jericho falling down after this business and it's employees/associates are exposed. They won't be the first or last. These people have no idea who knows who. Every dog has its day.

Hello, I understand that the company you used as invoiced for this electrical work Eastman Property Services, LLC" was not satisfactory in dealing with an electrical issue you needed to resolve. Again, I do not own this company, nor do I employ any of their employees or the Sub Contractor that they allegedly hired to work on your issue. I do understand the confusion, given the Rochester area has dozens of "Eastman" named companies, and I absolutely agree that I did provide you with an introduction to handle this issue. When you reached out to me to alert me that they had hired a contractor that allegedly tried to take advantage of you, I stated that we would make sure to notify anyone else who may be using them for this type of service. I would also like to point out that we did not have a contract to act as your property manager during the time you began having concerns about this company, and that you had chosen to use them after our contract had ended, however, we still offered to act as an intermediary to issue payment electronically on your behalf to complete the work for your C of O/ as suggested by the owner of Eastman Property Services, LLC. However, When you stated you did not trust them, and wanted someone else to handle it, we reached out to them and told them we would be giving you money back towards this work, and took the issue up with them directly because you are not local and we wanted to make sure the money was refunded. Furthermore, ANY work that you think they performed improperly, or didn't perform at all but you paid for, we will meet with a representative from this company, a representative on your behalf, and a City of Rochester inspector, and if they did not, we would make sure you received a full refund from them. Fraud is not something we take lightly, and we want to be 100% transparent with any concerns you may have with this vendor. We would also expect you to file a complaint against them, given we are being held accountable for work they did/or did not perform (but charged for), and not for just for recommending them. So again, if you would like our help in working through this step-by-step feel free to come up to Rochester, or have a third-party present, so that we can help provide you with the satisfaction you are looking for. I think it would be a great idea to familiarize yourself with the property you own, and the work performed, before you accuse anyone of anything. Regarding your lease, we did have several discussions with you about your escalation clause with your tenant, however, it's not legal in NYS given the new land lord tenant laws that I discussed at length with your wife. The tenant refused to pay the amount that you had in your lease. I'm sorry we couldn't collect this amount but we checked with our Attorney and the clause didn't hold up in court. Feel free to look further into this, but it is seen as a late fee, which you can no longer receive at court. Tenants also now have 14 days legally to pay their rent (all stuff I covered with your wife when the laws changed). I'm not sure why your upset with customers leaving positive reviews after your negative review, except to say that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

This company is a SHAM! STAY AWAY from having them manage your properties. The previous reviews are from people they work with or employ. We used Eastman for nearly two years. Things seemed to go well for the first few months but went down hill over time. The worst part of the operation is their maintenance department headed by Jesse. After firing eastman, we learned from the city inspector and our tenants that they had been charging for work that was never done, or even saying there was certain work needed that wasn't necessary to do. On the work they did do, it was grossly overcharged and poor quality. There were instances where the furnace of a property was not functioning in the winter and we didn't even LEARN about it until the tenant notified our own maintenance person. We had eastman handling a renewal of the C of O on one property. There was allegedly some electric work that needed to be done to get it up to code. They charged us for the work and never did it. Then requested more money saying other items needed to be done. We fired them during this time and learned from the city electrical inspector that the CITY is actually building a case against the electrician that eastman was using (faciliated by Eastman's own Jesse Briden, who the city believes is a part of the issue) because there have been many instances of this electrician scamming people. On the management side, Eastman was actually collecting the wrong (lower) amount of rent from one of our tenants for nearly six months until we noticed. Eastman had the tenant sign a new lease for a higher rent amount but never updated the rent amount. Its very interesting that suddenly after posting this review there are three new 5 star reviews when they had no reviews for a year prior.
