Never again this place car went There with Simple misfire they change a lot of stuff on a car charge fortune wasnt solved The problem was even worst snap off spark plug think they did on purpose to come back and get more money for free and they also damage alloys worth 1000
Id been to lots of other garages to fix my suspension fault and non of them managed it. Andy Gayle kept me informed of what they were doing and what the next step after was going to be. The car feels great again and is working brilliantly, I won't be taking it anywhere but to this garage from now on!
Well, where do i start. I dont have the words to express how good Andy and his team are. If mechanics where in leagues, these guys would be Premier league easily. From start to finish they have been fantastic, constant communication ranging from messages, phone calls and video updates of the work been carried out on my car. Andy himself took me for a drive in my car before i paid, to show the car was perfect. The professionalism from Andy and his team is second to none. Please dont hesitate to call these guys for all your Mercedes needs, you will not be disappointing. Thanks again Andy.
Andy Gayle came highly recommended as a Mercedes specialist, I took my car in on the 26.3.19. The car was taken in for an oil change and filters. I have only had had the car 2 years it was fully serviced by the dealer when I bought it. I have not had it serviced in the last year as it has not really been used due to me using a work vehicle, I have barely done 7000 miles since the last service. When I went to collect my car from who I thought was Andy Gayle and pay I was told that he has done the service and that they had found the turbo had a crack, (which is not mentioned in any of my service history that any work on the turbo has been carried out) he then stated that it had been glued and it will let air into the car but should not affect the performance of the car he said he could fix it for 500, I then stressed that I have not had any work done on my car or previously serviced and that the car has always been serviced by the dealer. The car had been parked up until Thursday due to me having to travel to Gatwick whilst driving to Gatwick the car was struggling ran awful, the engine management light was constantly on and the car had no power and it would only drive in 2 gears not even the manual override panels can be used when I called to query why all these problems were happening he was very rude and put the phone down. I then contacted the person who had recommended me and I told them what had happened and my experience with Andy Gayle and gave a description of who had done the work and he stated that doesn't sound anything like Andy Gayle? So who is even running this business whilst I was collecting my car, I overheard a heated conversation between a customer and a member of staff claiming their car had not been returned in the same condition it was bought in and the customer had said that there was nothing wrong with his car when he left it, and he argued that they were telling him that the repairs will cost him 2000. You can tell that things for them at the garage has definitely declined, the cars that they drive are sheds and sound like sheds my car was an S class Mercedes with an AMG engine, there are no prestigious cars on the forecourt I would not advise anyone to take their prestigious Mercedes to them unless you want to end up with a shed where the spare parts are given to the scrap yard. I have contacted trading standards as this has got to stop, people cannot take decent cars down to them for an oil change and then after a basic oil change and when you get your car back hes talking about the turbo snapping and glued by someone, you dont need to touch the turbo to do an oil change. my engine is now struggling Im using a ridiculous amount of petrol. they clearly do not know what they are doing when they create a problem and try to say that the problem was there before and thats how I brought my car in it is clearly unprofessional.
