Not just this dealership, but the entire Avis Car Sales process is a mess if you're looking to buy a specific vehicle from their online inventory list. The inventory online seems to have little to no correlation with what is on the lot. Called/submitted a form about a particular vehicle that was listed as available, got communications saying to come in so I could have a look, took an hour to go out to the location, vehicle was already sold and they had no similar ones available. Told me they'd call me if any popped up. Got an email a few days later from them, saying one was available. I followed up, guy said he'd check, then got ghosted. Never even got a yes/no answer. Tried signing up for an Ultimate Test Drive. Got a call with details confirming my appointment, received notification and reminder texts up to an hour before the appointment, go to the particular rental spot, got told the vehicle's unavailable. They said I should have been contacted, but I got zero communication whatsoever telling me about the cancellation. Called the sales department, they were as confused as I was and said there wasn't any reason why it should have been cancelled. Said they'd look into it really quick and call me back. I call them a few hours later, get someone completely different, who looks it up and says the car got moved to Rhode Island instead. Sick of getting yanked around trying to buy a car from this company.
I just purchased a vehicle here. James helped me out! He was very straight forward and honest. Also he was not pushy about buying a car. He pointed out all the information that was needed, answered our questions honestly, and overall a very outgoing guy. Im super excited to pick up my new car. Overall Avis is the place to go if you want a genuine and comfortable experience where the salesman aren't trying to force you to buy!
