Most dishonest place I have ever seen. We had a deal over the phone I left work 2 hrs early only to get there and the car was not as advitised or verbally verified and the amount agreed on was not honored either he tried to charge me more then called my wife a liar on agreed price.save your time and money don't shop here!!!!!!

My wife Bought a car for 6000 and the first week we had to take it back from sunroof dumping water on floor, they said they fixed it but they just stuffed the whole to stop the leaking til the month warranty was gone, didnt tell her it had been wrecked and within six months the electrical system went haywire and gas lines blew and two wheel bearing went bad and it was an 08 Chevy with 120,000 and now has 140,000 a year later and would feel bad asking for four and would suggestively tell anyone to STAY Away

I looked at an SUV here recently and had previously bought a Lexus from them. The cars arent perfect but for the price theyre not bad. Just remember to do your research and get a prepurchase inspection. The staff is very friendly and fairly easy to negotiate with.

Caps Cars sold me a piece of junk car all the while trying to make me believe they were doing me a favor. The car was $3000 with a warranty. While we were talking they really did a number on me. "Oh we like to take care of our customers, word of mouth is how this business thrives blah blah blah ".They told me stories of how they sell cars with no warranty but still go out of their way fix them and make the deal right. Well that is all a huge LIE. While we were looking a vehicles, every car we drove had some kind of issue so they decided to "make us a deal" on a car that seemingly drove well and ran well. They would lower the price by $500 and let me "owe" them $500 since I wasn't really looking to spend that much. After I finally agree and the paperwork is all done and money exchanged hand they inform me that since they lowered the price of the car, there would no longer be a warranty!!! Nice time to tell me. We get the car home and every light on the dash starts coming on and everything mechanically starts going wrong. Car isnt driving right, or running right. Call over they say bring it in, we take it in and conveniently the mechanic isnt there. Go on back home (about an hour away) and we will call you to come back when the mechanic is back. Needless to say no call ever came. So I got the car worked on and fixed and then the water pump went out which is a huge deal in the alero. I call them, they tell me my mechanic is a quack it could never ever cost that much ($1000) to change a water pump and it doesnt take that much work. I told him to google it and see for himself since he had no clue what he was saying. He would talk to his mechanic and call me back. Never heard back that time either. I kept calling him with different repairs required to even drive the car to and from work. They stopped answering the phone. Told them if I was sinking all my money into the repairs, I couldn't pay the $500 I owe them. Oh don't worry about just pay it whenever. no big deal not like we are going to come take your car. well guess what? They came and took my car in the middle of the night tonight. My 7 year old son had his 3rd brain surgery 3 weeks ago and has therapy tomorrow. I have been on unpaid FMLA and am barely getting gas money to take him to all of his appointments. Let alone money to pay all the repossession fees and everything. So I looked up Illinois laws about repossession and so many of them were broken. I will be calling an attorney tomorrow and the BBB. BUYER BEWARE!! THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS AND THEY ARE NOT DOING YOU ANY FAVORS THEY JUST MAKE IT APPEAR THAT WAY WITH THEIR CON-ARTIST TALK!!! I PUT A TOTAL OF $3000 PLUS IN REPAIRS INTO THAT HUNK OF JUNK AND IT STILL HAS CONSTANT PROBLEMS. DO NOT BUY FROM CAPS CARS AND THEIR SMOOTH TALKING RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!
