I used this business for a water leak clean up. the cleanup crew was amazing. They were prompt, courteous, professional compassionate. They sent a management team in to make sure protocols were followed. I would rate them 5 stars for their clean up. I decided to use them to do the repairs as well; however that did work out as well, actually it never happened because I had a horrible time getting the estimator to follow through. After two weeks of missed and unreturned calls, the estimator came to do the estimate, and was very thorough. I felt confident that I had chosen the right company to handle my repairs. Unfortunately we never made it to the repair stage because the estimator never followed up with me to give me the estimate. The estimator came to my home March 16th, and agreed to follow up with me on the following Monday. To date I have received nothing. not a phone call, not an email.Nothing. I contacted the estimator on April 3 just to make sure to connect from my end. It is April 16 and I still have not heard back from them. I dont feel like I should beg a company to pay them my money. This was unfortunate. I wanted to use this company because of their outstanding cleanup service and the high ratings, but unfortunately things did not work out in my favor due to the estimator being nonresponsive.

Unfortunately, there are times when we become inundated as a company with many emergencies throughout the areas we service. Sent them an email explaining the problem and asked if they could give a free estimate and was told yes. I gave contact info and near the end of the day no call, so I follow up with an email asking when would someone possibly be contacting me. Another prompt reply..."someone will call you by end of day or tomorrow. ", okay acceptable. Within minutes I get a call telling me how busy they are and how they don't have time to give me a free estimate. Honestly it came off rude and unprofessional. I was hoping good things from the reviews but ended up wasting my time and feeling unappreciated.

Excellent work performed by Phil and Mark in our condo. The team was punctual, extremely thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. They assessed the issues, and went to work. They even followed up on a Holiday weekend to make sure everything was going as planned. I would highly recommend this business for any scope of work that you may need done in your home. Keep up the great work!!

Multiple entities such as insurance negogiations, the board approval, etc. were factors which lay outside of our control. We appreciate your feedback, as we strive to always improve

Thompson as a whole was very difficult to work with. They didn't start with me during the cleanup as it was an emergency clean-up issue and I had to use someone else. Due to several issues the job took 9 months to completed after they started. It was a kitchen and bathroom job that had water damage. Problems started when they put a hole is a ceiling heat pipe, causing delay. They struggles to get the right cabinet size, which was another delay. They didn't do much wall prep before painting in the kitchen, so it had to be repainted. The good things that happened; they work with me for a credit on flooring and did some added work in the bathroom. However, I have asked several times for the reports from the other contractors that were asked to look at the furnace/air conditioner, electric box and plumbing and still have not received any documentation. My condo was under construction from February 2nd 2020 till March of 2021.
