I purchased a car from Sean Auto Sales on-line without ever seeing the car. And then since it was from out of town, I paid to have it delivered. Risky right? I suppose it depends on the business owner you are dealing with. The car arrived after dark, and when the truck driver was driving it off the truck it stalled, and then stalled again before he could drive it into my driveway. Right off the bat, Im thinking, This guy sold me a lemon! When I asked the driver if he had issues getting it on the truck, he told me the car was running (warming up) when he arrived, and he had no problems. A red flag right there (pre-started car), too bad I did not go see it in person. Don't ever buy a car from a dealer if they have the car pre-started and warming up. Next morning, I had to add gas to the car from a gas can, the tank was dead empty on arrival. So still unsure if the issues were from an empty gas tank, I drove the car to the gas station, 5 blocks away. It stalled 4 times, once for every stop sign. So I called Sean and asked to return the car, he said no. Long story short, he said he would pay to have it fixed. One week and two automotive shops later, lots of stress, lots of run-around, more stalls in the middle of the road, and some burned PTO, the car now seems to be running OK. The issue with this car, was that it stalled to perfection when 1st starting and driving, but it you let it warm up for 20 minutes it drove fine. It's interesting how a stalling car even makes it into your dreams. There's nothing like pulling out into a fast moving intersection and having a car die on you, then wondering if the guy behind will be paying attention or just rear end you and put you in the hospital. Sean did say he was going to pay the automotive bills; he paid one of the two bills. In the end he just blew my emails and correspondence off. I suppose once the thrill of the sale is gone - at least in this case - he just wants to be done with you. Good luck when this comes back to you Sean.... and it will! I really try to be fair in my reviews, originally this was given 2 stars. So coming back to edit this post more than a month later, this deal was anything but quality service.
