I bought some scrubs and decided to return a pair after I decided I didn't like them. When I returned them instead of refunding the money they charged my card for another $65. So I called and explained it to them they apologized and said they would refund me the $65 for the mistake charge then return the $65 for the actual return. Then they only returned the $65 from when the mistake charge and never refunded the money for the actual return so now I'm $65 out and don't even have the scrubs anymore. I understand mistakes are made but I shouldnt have to call the store 3 times to try and get my money back for THEIR mistake. Won't be back and will recommend the scrub store in altoona to people.

Employees are always rude, look at you like they are just disgusted. I called to do an over the phone order because the color I needed was not available online (told that to the employee) Im new to buying scrubs, she asked me the style I told her and she kind of giggled and said I need a style number (me not having a clue what that is). I was in there just 3 days ago when I got the dirty looks and they didnt have what I needed in the store. I asked if the dressing room were open at the time to try on different scrubs and she didnt say word to me just kept looking down and shook her head yes. I dont normally do reviews for anywhere but the 2 times and Ive been in there and now even over the phone just terrible terrible service. Miserable women that work there.

A great place to get quality scrubs in the West Des Moines area! They have a fabulous section and even a clearance section which is nice. They also have shoes and a variety of compression socks. The prices are what you expect for the products and they offer a loyalty program through punch cards which I appreciate. I got a 15% discount for being a local health employee, so definitely ask about that when you go- every bit helps and I am grateful they offer this! They allow you to try on the scrubs which is so helpful and I appreciate. Great selection of brands and colors! Clean and spacious store. Employees were very courteous.

I was already skeptical about going here because of the reviews and it turns out theyre true! I just got a new hospital job requiring scrubs, which Ive never needed for a job before. I walk in and one of the employees just looks at me and continues walking past. As I said, Ive never needed scrubs so it wouldve been nice to have help but no one bothered to ask although I heard them asking others. When I go to check out, its with the same lady I seen when I walked in and she asked if Ive ever been there before and I said no. and that was the end of that! On my way out I heard another lady at the check out counter asking someone if they had their punch card. I was never asked to sign up for whatever it is they offer with a punch card although the lady KNEW I had never been in there before. When I was telling a friend about my experience she said that they also have discounts for certain jobs and was almost positive I wouldve gotten a discount had they asked where I work as they ask her when she shops there! Not only will I never go back but neither will my friend.
