We went out to install a TV and replace his old sub that wasn't working. We noticed that the new sub wasn't getting a single so we had to trouble shoot the problem we determined that his old receiver was bad. We offered him 2 solutions either repair the old receive or get a new receiver. He didn't like either option. He was aware of the restocking fee. We spent over two hours trying determined what was the problem in witch we didn't charge him for that time... Again we were there to install a TV & replace his sub nothing else. I'm sorry he fells that way we do try to go out of our way to make our customers happy.....

Im a very unhappy customer. I paid them almost a $1000 to install my new TV and a new subwoofer. They promised theyd integrate the new items fully into the rest of my audio video system. They didnt - and I had to spend the whole evening doing what Id paid them for. Whats worse - the sub-woofer didnt work!! They claimed it was my receiver that was the problem, and refused to take it back without a restocking fee. So Ive had to pay another $90 to get rid of a $600 sub-woofer!! I spoke to the owner - and he was absolutely no help at all. Dont use these guys!!!

Needed Data Drops - Got SO MUCH MORE - These guys are great. I will be using them in the future for all my low voltage needs. They were extremely professional. When I asked about more work than what they came out to do they were like tell us what we need to do. They went and got he additional parts came back and installed everything. Tested and made sure everything was working properly. Awesome Guys.

It is too bad I had to update the initial review I posted. Sound by Design treated me poorly, made a lot of excuses, and didn't finished the work they were paid up front to complete. It looked promising in the beginning, but quickly fizzled out. They ultimately made it right. It appears that there were some personnel issues coupled with a heavy workload.
