Hi Jamieson K; thank you for this feedback on your Md Safety Inspection experience. The scratch on the windshield was more than 7" long on the passenger side and within the "critical area" of the windshield. The MD law states to reject the vehicle if "There are cracks, discolorations, scratches, or conditions which interfere with the driver's view to the right or left." Our MD State Inspector offered to call the State Trooper with you to confirm his analysis and reason for rejecting the vehicle, but you declined. After viewing your Google Review, we contacted State Trooper Pruitt and reviewed the location and size of the scratch with him. He confirmed that your vehicle did not pass inspection.

I keep coming back here based on the great experience I had 6+ years ago. Sadly, I no longer consider this place any better than the tons of options in the area for price or service. For my next service, I need to remember to not choose convivence (here), and instead look for a new shop

Hi Ms. Dye! Thank you for your honest feedback concerning your visit & for taking the time to review us. We are happy to hear that the service was satisfactory and that our staff was approachable. To address your concern about masks...Unfortunately Google Business Pages only allows us to select whether masks are required or not required, and does not allow us to write in additional notes to describe nuances in mask protocol. We selected the "masks are required" option because we ask that unvaccinated customers and employees wear a mask. We have signage stating this on the entrance to the store. Tire World is following CDC guidelines, which states if you are vaccinated you do not have to wear a mask unless the indoor facility is an area of substantial transmission. We feel there is adequate space in our lobby to social distance for those customers and employees that are vaccinated. Their ad on Google says masks required, but no one wore them. But, they were friendly and did a good job with my car.
