Terrible! I had a jawline filler treatment, I was injected a filler in the wrong place which made me look worse. After this I have been already in a consultation with a plastic surgeon who also specializes in dermal Fillers. I was told by her the treatment I received was performed extremely poorly, with the filler placed in the wrong place, clearly indicating the injector is very inexperienced and have not received proper training to perform this treatment. I also will need to get the filler dissolved now as it looks awful. Mac Arstetics keeps insisting they dont know what I am talking about and there was nothing wrong with my treatment. They also refuse to provide any proof of diplomas/ certificates the injector has, which only comes to reaffirm my suspicion that she has no idea whats she was doing while injecting filler in my face. Avoid at costs unless you want to have botched face and risk serious complications.
Liz, Botox is a form of botulinum toxin and restylane is a type of dermal filler which is a hyaluronic acid sugar based product. The two things are COMPLETELY different. We have never once put botox inside anybody's lips ever. Botox paralyses muscles. Why would we therefore 'pretend' we have used botox in your lips as you suggest above. Botox should NOT be used in the lips. Restylane is for the lips. So your complaint completely does not make any sense. In terms of how quick an individuals body breaks down product we cannot predict nor be responsible for this as everyone's individual body is unique and different. Unfortunately following giving birth your hormone levels & oestrogen are affected. This impacts the speed of the breakdown of hyaluronic acid both naturally occurring in the body or filler (not botox) that has been placed in the body. This is the reason why PRIOR to birth many of your body parts are swollen because the levels are higher due to the opposite affect and following giving birth the swelling significantly subsides.

Absolute appalling company! Try use restalyne and say it's Botox. I had my lips filled with 1ml, never got an option of what filler they used they just used it, restalyne! Didn't open the packet in front of me not show me what they'd used. My lips deflated within a month. Went back to speak to them and they said I've retained 20% of the product. Have another 1ml and they'll retain 100%. Unfortunately they didn't. When I complained they said the reason I didn't retain it is because I'd had a baby a few months before. Sorry but when Katy Price or anyone gets their lips done after birth they're noticeable. They use the good stuff on the celebs and the cheap stuff on everyone else. Very good marketing making 110 per 1ml. When they said its because I'd had a baby I asked why they didn't tell me that the product would go down quickly when I first booked the appointment. The answer I got was that if they told everyone of possible side affects they wouldn't have any customers! Absolute money grabbers!!! Never said you used Botox in my lips!!! I know you don't use Botox on other clients!! Again you knew I'd just had a baby so you should have ADVISED as professionals to wait if that's was the case. Instead you filled my lips again for full price which again didn't last a week! Since been elsewhere and they've lasted me months!
We do not have a Karen Smith on our client records.
