The food is great but the staff is rude. Theres a girl (who rudely tells people to shut the door) had a horrible attitude. If you dont like people dont work in customer service at the front of house.
I tried the chocolate chip cookie for 3 dollars. I was not able to get a croissant, they run out of those quickly according to the cashier, you have to be here bright and early. I stopped by around noon, the cookie was alright. There wasn't a lot of chocolate, i counted 3 small chips. And they were all in the center of the cookie. It didn't taste like a good balance of sweet and salty. Not mind blowing, it's just a cookie. But try COFFEE COMMISARY BAKERY! THEY HAVE GIGANTIC COOKIES AND REALLY NICE PASTRIES BAKED FRESH DAILY.
Ive explored SO. MANY. BAKERIES. in LA to find the perfect croissant, after having gone to Paris right before COVID hit. The craving was so real. And Im SO glad I found this place!! Because they have the best croissant hands down in LA. Trust. It has that perfect, flaky exterior and that chewy, moist texture once you bite into. Their financiers are to DIE for as well. Honestly, you cant go wrong with anything here! Major kudos!
My friend told me that they make a great ham and cheese croissant with guyiere cheese. I checked the menu online and it was listed so I went down there to buy one waited outside for my turn to come in and to my disappointment they did not have any. Plus the place had no ambiance I got a better service at the donut shop in Las Feliz
