I had a metal shop assignment to do caps like these. You want Sheet Matal Caps from these folks. Any exposed wood or beams must have these to prevent rot. Great work. kbs

I purchased 3 copper vent covers for my 10 year old home because the plastic covers originally installed by my builder cracked due to age and UV rays. The plastic vent covers also look cheap. The new copper vent covers were installed in October 2014 and have changed color to match my copper gutters and copper bay windows. I am very pleased. I have some very large (12x12) wood posts for my deck in Utah that I wanted metal caps for. This is not an off-the-shelf product and I searched for weeks to find something. I stumbled across Sheet Metal Caps via a Google search and asked if they could make something. Paul responded almost immediately saying not only could they do this but they would fabricate each one individually to the exact measurements of the post (as there was some variation between posts). The price was more than reasonable and he had them fabricated and shipped in 48 hours. The quality is excellent and I could not be more pleased with the experience. Highly recommended!
