Good evening Rubeena I'm very sorry that you have had a bad experience at The Body Place, we pride ourselves on our customer service and always will resolve any issues that the client is unhappy with. When you called the salon to complain you was asked to return to the salon so that we could take photos of the area in concern (as per our procedures) and you was informed that you would get a refund....you wouldn't get a refund at any other store without returning to said store to return the item, the same is for any salon, how can we refund you without you returning and us seeing the problem? Your therapist said that you held up your phone during the wax telling her how you wanted them and watching exactly what she was doing....you also informed her that you had overplucked and the therapist explained that because of this the shape wouldn't be perfectly balanced without removing too much hair! We are very sorry that you experienced a burn on your eyebrow and this absolutely shouldn't have happened and for that we apologise but on your other review that came to the salon you said you was happy with rest of the body waxing you received and it was just the brows you was unhappy with....so to say that people should stay away and ignore our positive views is slightly harsh....all of our reviews are 100% genuine and we have been in business for 19 years so we're obviously doing something right and our clients are all very happy and would come and speak to us if they ever had a problem!! I am new to the area and decided to get my eyebrows done at The Body Place. It was by far the most painful, awful and upsetting experience of my life. I had some experience in combined threading and waxing but not just waxing. I thought how bad could it be! When it was time to get my eyebrows waxed, the wax was placed in between my eyebrows without even have a little consultation with me of how I would like my eyebrows done. Having waxed in between my eyebrows there was too much taken off one side. :( There was also a lot taken off at the sides which is what I did not want. the shape was silly as one was higher than the other. I did double check when making the call do you shape eyebrows properly they reassured me they did. I was so upset when I left and in a lot of pain. I thought maybe it was just getting waxed there for the first time after a long time. But I do remember the lady pulling very aggressively. When I woke up in the morning after suffering with my pain all day ....I saw that I had been burnt! I could not leave the house and when I spoke to someone from the store... they wanted me to go into the shop and only then would they give me a refund. I wouldn't make something up like this. I just would have preferred not be burnt but would have appreciated any kind of sympathy on the other side. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. THEY DID NOT MAKE ME FEEL BETTER AFTER I EXPLAINED HOW DISAPPOINTED I WAS. ITS A SHAME BECAUSE I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY EYEBROWS TO GROW UP AND ITS A VERY HORRIBLE START TO A NEW START TO THE AREA. I REPEAT IGNORE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS - STAY AWAY!!!!

Hello Santa Can you please tell me what advise you was looking for as our staff are always very helpful on the phone and always take the time to listen to customer request! If I has more information I could find out if you spoke to our receptionist or one of the therapists answered the phone??? We would never put the phone down on any customer?? Saoirse always gives me the best eyebrows! Lovely salon, great girls and treatments. So lucky to have this on our doorstep. I've had full body massages, waxing, eyebrow waxing and facials - I would rate everything 10/10. Best salon in the area

I've used this salon regularly for waxing since moving to the area about 6 months ago. Having had back pain for a few weeks my partner offered to treat me to a massage there. The first appointment was cancelled with an hours notice, due to a therapist's broken down car. I turned up for the second one to be left sitting waiting for half an hour, to then be told that I'd have to wait at least another 20 minutes, but still with no reason for the delay. Given that I'd arranged childcare especially I couldn't afford to wait. My 'Christmas treat' was ruined and only useless appointment alternatives offered. A real shame as I'd rated this place and recommended to friends until now! :(
