We were at the store on a slow Sunday afternoon. There was a new employee who was eager to learn his new job. The more senior person said he "couldn't" and moves him aside. I reassured them that I was in no hurry and that it was very ok for him to "practice" with me. They then let him do the check out process. There were three other employees standing by watching him do the tasks. When he struggled they laughed at him. It was very obvious that he was nervous and a little intimidated, but still very eager and willing to learn. The fact that the others were laughing at him was disheartening as he was trying very hard. This is an excellent example of why people aren't staying in their jobs. This was not a supportive environment for a new employee. I'm not sure what others experience have been, but I was very sad to see this eager employee treated so poorly by his peers.
Staff is condescending and rude, most of them have their masks hanging down below their noses. Selection is mostly tacky af, it's like they're stuck in 2005. They make a big to-do about only taking clothes that are 3 years old or newer, but somehow everything in this place feels dated.
