I bought nothing, as they have a small selection and apparently no negotiation. The vehicles I looked at were just a little too rough. They look good driving by, but up close you can really see stuff. Sadly, much of it is things they could get fixed easily, but I got the "you can't expect perfection from used cars" line. I've bought many used cars, and I do expect better. Sorry guys.
Just want to start out Saying that I am not typically the type of person two write out reviews but this time I feel like I would be in the wrong not to. I bought a car in September from Columbus car Trader two weeks later the clutch went out on me. The warranty that I bought and paid for would not cover it so I contacted the dealership. They did not want to Cover the whole cost which was fine I understood. After getting it back after a long wait two weeks later the clutch went out again along with the transmission. The warranty did cover the transmission but not the clutch again so I had them replace both. A week and a half after getting it back the clutch went out for third time in under two months. When I called him a third time they refused to pay for it or get involved at all. I had another mechanic shop look at it and they told me that the mechanic must not have installed it right. Instead of them trying to get the mechanic to fix it they just told me theyre stepping out of it. I do not suggest buying a car from them at all they sold me a lemon and although they may not have known it they are unwilling to do the right thing to fix it. This is not how you keep customers. Their mechanic does not know what theyre doing because if you know anything about cars under no circumstances should the clutch go out that fast unless its an installation error. I urge you to stay away from this place. Im not posting this to get anything out of it other than to protect other people from what I went through now Im gonna be eating the cost of a clutch which will cost me another 2,000 on top of what I paid for the car plus the warranty. I completely understand they arent liable legally but doesnt make it right. Update 03/03/2022: ended up doing the work myself come to find out that the flywheel was toast too and is easily visible when removing to old clutchthe flywheel should be replaced anytime a clutch is but the fact of the matter is they were unwilling to pay for it and blamed it on my driving. Once I did it MYSELF I have had no issues since then.
