Contrived image/marketing. Inconsistent service. High price. No choice for basic mens cut -- you get their gold standard or nothing at all. Their gold standard can be had elsewhere for over 50% less. To their credit, the salon is a unique, super clean, bright refreshing place. Too, Anna is an extremely talented and animated stylist. If you want to try a salon with an unique ambience, Iki is worth checking out.

Positives If you haven't been, at least check out their website. Unlike other salons, they have a clearer price system. I can see that some people would prefer that the tips are not charged separately. They also offer complimentary eyebrow waxing (it's a free service, so don't expect too much). The owner, Anna knows Asian hair. If you're an Asian looking for a decent haircut, I would recommend Anna. The shop also uses Davines products. Negatives Had a positive experience during my first visit (hair cut with Anna) a few months back, so went back for hair color (Megan). Using a box color at home would have turned out better. Megan couldn't even make decent bangs. It showed that she didn't have experience with black hair. Even after finding out that the heater stopped working after 3 minutes (out of 30 minute processing time), she didn't bother to take any additional action (my hair needed a lot of lightening/color lifting). I can say this was the WORST haircut/color I have had in my life.

I can't recommend this place enough; the stylists are all really friendly and talented (I had Kelly, who I loved), and the prices already are good but when you account for everything you get with a hair cut it's phenomenal. Not only did I get a great haircut and blowout, but it included: shoulder and scalp massage, hair mask, and facial waxing of your choosing (done while the hair mask is in). Prices for haircut are between 40-85 depending on hair length and length of service (I assume, check their website) and gratuity isn't accepted so there's no extra expense past what they charge you. The pedicure was also really amazing, I've never gotten my feet this soft. Place is a little hard to find so pay attention to their confirmation email they send if you book online, because you have to go to the back of the building through the parking lot to get in and GPS sends you to the front, which is a separate business.
