We have been staying here since it first opened over 25 years ago. Loved it, sent friends here, sadly it is not the same. The office is no longer open and your room key is in a lock box which is very difficult to open.. we requested one-of the higher number rooms by phone to the sister hotel, The Harvest. Gentleman very short and said yes. Upon arrival after much difficulty in opening the key box we got the lowest number room. It smelled. Sorry back to the key box and the phone. By the way the phone does not work. Used my own, now we got another room. Alarm clock does not work, no phone in the room, and take a look at this toiletnothing more to say except word will travelsuch a shame, was such a nice place to stay!

First time staying here after many visits to the area and its a great spot. Rural enough but only a short drive to all the great spots Lancaster has to offer. Also right next to the small airport so great if with small kids who love planes and helicopters. Wasnt noisy at all either as I expected it would be. Only heard like 2 planes during the daytime. The cottage was clean and set up nicely and beds comfy. Prices per night via orbitz was reasonable. The owner and the housekeeper working are very nice people. One day the housekeeper forgot to bring us towels. She felt so bad, she actually drove from over a hour away when off of work to bring us a fresh set. Super great service and I wanted to make sure she gets the credit where deserved. Thanks so much for the excellent stay. We will be back.
