Emma, Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. I am sorry for your negative experience. Since your review, we have been working with the management team assigned to your apartment community and coaching them to better communicate with the residents. Since the letter has been sent, an apology email has been sent to the residents. The tone of the original letter did not reflect the values of Ogden. We are hoping to start back on a better page. We are sorry about the distress caused by someone entering your home. From maintenance reports, we understand that the door was not locked due to no signs of forced entry. However, this is still very scary. We are glad that everyone is okay and that you contacted the police to make a police report. Matt has been communicating with the Milwaukee Police Department for solutions to people accessing the building. They reiterated the importance of reminding residents to be sure that the doors are shut behind them. Also, this time of year in the cold months, squatters are attracted to lobbies and entryways. The management team has identified a need for more security solutions for the building and they are actively pursuing them. In regards to the elevator, elevator issues are very inconvenient and can cause many issues for every resident in the building. From speaking with the management team the elevator has been fixed. The issue with the light was more complex and took a lot of investigating. The management team reported that the light was fixed in 4 days, however, the fact was that the communication about the light was not sufficient. The team will work to provide better communication. We hope to move forward from this situation and earn your trust as a management company for the place you call home. Your feedback is important to us, please share any updates. We are also just an email away,
[email protected] Our goal is to make sure you continue to have a great place to call home.

Ogden is the worst management company I have ever dealt with. Since they took management of my building two months ago, there have been several issues and complaints made. There have been multiple squatters in the front lobby who have been allowed to stay and hang out. When management was made aware of this issue they decided it was the TENETS job to monitor the lobby and make sure no one was getting in or out. An issue of a trespasser making her way into my apartment, which left me in fear and having to run to the police department was taken with a lack of responsibility, professionalism, and respect for myself, my property and my well being. Management handled the situation by stating they would resend an email to residence to remind them to monitor the lobby area. When stated this wasn't an appropriate response as it is not on the tenets job to monitor the safety and security of the building and even given suggestions such as a security guard for after dark, cameras, and a better lock/ buzzer system, management came back with another no-answer answer. After the incident, maintenance was required in my apartment which did not get handled for days even after several attempts to contact the property manager Matt, who later told my roommate he was blatantly ignoring my calls. In the latest of incidents, the community elevator has been broken for almost a week, requiring all residence to take the stairs. However, several elders live in the building and are unable to do so. Now that the elevator is up and running, the lights in the elevator still do not work which means residence are taking the elevator in the dark. Yes, IN THE DARK, something out of a horror film. In all, if you are considering living, working or interacting with this management I suggest rethinking. From basic needs such as cleaning and maintaining a clean environment, to maintenance requests and email correspondence it is all done with a lack of respect and professionalism. This management is unprofessional, lacks basic respect for its residence, and is unable to handle the task of managing properties in an effective, efficient, and respectful manner.
