Hi Mark...thank you for this review. The employee standing there was training and concentrating on what was going on with the other customer. Being a small shop and with the Covid-19 requirements from the health department there is no way we can really take care of two customers at the same time like we used to. As you might have noted we have also removed the indoor seating. I forget how you asked for the sweet rolls but we had another order for pans of sweet rolls that we thought might be yours. Sorry for the perceived snarky attitude, but thank you for letting us know your feelings. We are A small family run shop and we do have attitudes, feelings, and personalities here that can rub some people the wrong way. Glad you liked the sweet rolls.

I stopped in to pick up some cinnamon rolls and stood at the counter for awhile as one employee took care of a customer at the register while another younger employee just stood there not even acknowledging me. Very frustrating. Finally the first employee finished with her customer and was able to help me. I requested some cinnamon rolls, and I was asked if I called in advance. I said no and from that point there seemed to be some kind of snarkiness attitude from the lady helping me that caught me off guard. In the end they served me some cinnamon rolls and we took them home where we enjoyed them. Fortunately I'm not sure what the deal was with the employees working there that morning but I guess everyone has an off day. I would still recommend the Butter Crumb for their delicious pastries.

Last time I went here, there were anti-black lives matter signs there (signs that said things along the lines of we love cops and if you don't, get out, on their sign in the store posted publiclly). If you are not white and straight I wouldn't feel safe there with this rhetoric being displayed. I'm disappointed in how these ridiculous polital signs are posted in a public place, it makes a once welcoming place seem not so....

We stopped on our way home from Buffalo. Got paninis, some pastry & apple pie. Paninis were delicious & pie is wonderful, flaky crust & great apple filling. We will be back, just wish you were closer to Warsaw!

I just stopped in for a breakfast sandwich. One employee, I believe the owner stated Im not making it and another said, Ill do it but youll have to wait 15 minutes. I certainly understand and am sympathetic to the current situation an challenges but thats no way to treat a customer. The bakery had been a family favorite and I have enjoyed food from here many, many times. I will never go back again. How you treat your customers is a choice and your customers also have choices. So disappointing.
