The place was very clean and seemed tidy. Both workers - the cashier and the piercer - seemed nice and service was very quick. However my main concern is that the staff didnt really seem to care to take the time to help me make an informed decision. I went in to buy and install a nose ring for an existing piercing which had just had a stud for over a year. When I asked about my options for a gold hoop, they only presented two - solid gold or gold plated. When I asked questions about the difference between the two, they simply insisted it was just a matter of price. I explicitly followed up by asking if there were differences in longevity but both insisted that the only factor to consider was my budget. Based on their responses, I went with the cheaper gold plated ring and promptly had it installed. I only remembered after the purchase and installation about my sensitive skin but I thought the workers would be sure to mention it if that were an issue to consider. After 2 days, my nose became a bit red and irritated so I did some research and found a multitude of sources discussing how the likelihood for irritation was much higher for gold plated jewelry and that the longevity was explicitly much shorter for gold plated compared to solid gold. Gold plated piercings are not even really waterproof per one source, which makes me skeptical about using them at all around the face. Though I acknowledge I should have done more research, I really wish the workers had taken the time to ensure I could truly make an informed decision based on factors that were important to me (it seems they were optimizing for price and ease of taking out/in which werent of particular concern to me), especially surrounding my first and only facial piercing. Considering I had to explicitly reserve time to be there, Id hope the cashier wouldnt feel rushed to make me make a decision - as I was the only customer there for some amount of time. There were also no aftercare instructions or cautions given, so I was also not informed of the best way to extend the lifetime of what is an easily worn out piece of jewelry. Overall, while the place is probably nice for people who know what theyre looking for, I wouldnt place full trust in them to inform me as a customer and someone who is new to body piercings.
Staff is nice, but they overcharge and do not tell you the extra fees until it is time for you to pay. They also charge extra for the backing of an earring which makes no sense.
Waited 20 minutes to speak to someone just to have them tell us the wait was going to be over an hour
