I have been to this store a whole 3 times now. Great selection of fabric, and accuquilt products. First time I was in the store, people were very cold towards me. Granted, I don't look like your typical quilter, but that should not matter. At that point, I decided to not return. I drove to another quilting shop, gave them my business. Decided to return a few weeks later, and the staff was pleasant. Made an order, chalked up the first experience to people having a bad day. Returned last night again to pick up said order. While one member of your staff was great, she left me to another woman who was once again very cold. No "thank you", "have a nice day", nothing. Leaving a store with 5 items, and no offer of a bag. Thankfully I had one in the car. Maybe I was right the first time. Such a shame, since your shop is like..2 miles away from me. Kindness is free. With it being the shop hop, i would expect you would be working to keep the customers that are stopping in. I guess I'll just keep driving next time.
Lynn, thank you so much for your post. I am sorry for our lack of friendliness, especially since it happened more than once! While we try to be on our game, we sometimes fall short. I appreciate that you let us know and hope we get another chance to serve you in a future visit. You gave us a good reminder to focus on what is important, great customers who support our business.

I love, love, love, the fabric they carry. I had a piece quilted there on their long arm and they did a great job. However, the three times I've been there, at the end of my transaction at checkout, I said "Thank You" and the staff said "Uh-huh" and turned to walk away. No eye contact, no "thank you for your business" and no "your quilt looks great". I will go to other quilt shops due to the unfriendly staff.
