This fire rebuild has several unique circumstances and a happy ending. It is said that no good deed goes unpunished. The owner's old girlfriend called me two days before he was to lose all insurance coverages as no contractor would give him a quote for the insurance company and he failed to submit the required insurance sworn statement paperwork on time. Like most fire victims, many are lost and do not know what to do or who to call. We got this done for him so he could have insurance coverage. Without Ameri Pro he would be stuck with a burned down home and a $40,000 mortgage. Just days after meeting the client, he disappeared for almost a year making progress difficult. We did work with his mother thru this, doing what we could. She said we were a Godsend so he would one day have a home again. We finally contracted to build a new home without a garage as he did not have a garage before the fire. The home was just for him, no mention of kids or being disabled as he was able to cut down trees, stack wood, etc. Because he was going thru a rough time, at no extra cost I gave him a two car garage so he would have a place to work as he is a very creative and handy type of guy. The owner is a very kind and gentle person and was a pleasure to work with. I was happy to do more for him and go above and beyond his expectations. My only regret is it all took too long to get there. When the insurance check finally came for the rebuild, the land contract holder refused to cooperate and demanded full payment of the mortgage. Out of more generosity I paid off his $40,000 mortgage out of the insurance funds leaving much less to build the home. More delays as the county prohibited the home to be rebuilt in the same spot as it was too close to the road. Homeowner was to clear the trees in the back to make room for the house. He could not take the big trees down so we hired a tree company to do so. Our contract was to only hook up to the existing well and septic. The well needed to repaired as well. We had hired a sub contractor to frame the home who did cause some delays and then covid happened. Most recently our plumbing contractor had to stop for a while as the were hit with Covid as well and too some time to catch up. We were held up for a few months as the homeowner spent the remaining insurance funds and did not have the required drywall draw payment to keep progress going. When the owner made the overdue payment he said he had been living with his fiancé and would be selling the home as soon as it was done. So I dont understand why the reviewer/fiancé said he was homeless when he was living with her in a permanent arrangement. I am happy to report the home just passed final plumbing, HVAC, and electrical and the blower door test. The county is now requesting that his old septic tank be inspected before granting final occupancy. Yes it took longer than it should have for lots of valid reasons but he now has a beautiful home to sell and will make a big profit on.

House burned down and Ron told owner six months is all it would take to complete a simple 2 bed/1 bath houseno basement. That was 3 years ago. It is still sitting unfinished. Owner is homeless, and disabled with 2 small children. Relying on friends for shelter while with no money for rent. This builder has been paid in full while the homeowner waits. Insurance quit helping with rent over a year ago. This house is all he has. Drive by - McWhorter Highway in Mulliken, Michigan and see for yourself. Builder is paid in full and we visit every week. Owner is hopeless!!!!

These guys were so much help. They showed up even on the weekend to get 7" of water out of my basement. When I was in need these guys showed up when no one else were available. Great crew all around.

Recently with the great floods of 2021 we had an issue with our house that we bought back in October. Attached to the living room there is an addition the previous owners had added on and well.....that addition had water come in from the outside under the flood (slab construction). I had called Ron with a recommendation from my insurance agent. Ron was VERY responsive and with how busy he was, he was able to come out the following morning. He was straight up and honest with me and could have took my $1000 deductible but instead told me I could do it all for far less than that by myself. Sent me a few text after the fact to give me some advice and pointers on how i should fix the area and take steps to make sure that no more water will get in the area. I highly recommend this company and Ron is amazing. Super honest and seems more willing to help people than just take their money. I will use Ameri Pro Restoration for any type of restoration work that I need. A+++ service and very professional.
