Mr Benson, I just wanted to apologize for the behavior you encountered in the dive shop. I can't speak for who it was or why he would yell at you like that as it was 6 months ago. I can say he was probably in a bad mood for you to have experienced that, but that is absolutely no excuse. I went in the shop looking for few things, and the guy behind the counter was extremely rude. I said hello and started looking around the shop. When I couldnt find an item that was hanging on the wall, he started yelling at me. Yes, like actually yelling. Then he angrily walked over and pulled the item off the wall and gave it to me. I was so confused. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Either way, I will never go back.

Do not dive with ScubaTech until they change their views on interacting with wildlife. They recently encountered a whale shark and while beautiful, it is extremely irresponsible to touch wildlife. Its illegal to touch them. This kind of behavior is normal for ScubaTech but needs to change.

We went to ScubaTech to get a mask for snorkeling. They got me set up with an amazing mask. John was so personable and super easy for an absolute novice like me to talk to. They were accommodating to my kids being there, answered all of our many questions, and even shared some fun local facts with us. This is definitely THE place to go in Northwest Florida for your dive needs.

Such a great experience! If I could give Scubatech 25 out of 5 stars I would! I was so nervous with diving, but the staff was very reassuring and was always happy to help. Everyone was so nice, funny, and you could tell that they loved their job. They always took the time to make sure you were okay and enjoying your trip. If you are traveling to Destin I would DEFINITELY try this! Just the staff alone make it worth it! (Not to mention diving, it was pretty cool too)

I was going to dive with this shop but when I was in the parking lot, I heard one of the female dive masters complaining about her divers she was supervising. I cant trust my family to someone who treats paying customers that way. Ill take my business elsewhere.
