***BEWARE*** I am a freelance production assistant that works many long hours and I was counting on finding a reliable accountant to help me file my taxes. I went to Nadine and I paid her $750. Nadine had me go through all of my bank and credit card statements and itemize and add all the numbers for her. I would do this regardless, but does it make sense if I'm paying you $750 you should be doing these services for me? I spent half the day doing this and had to find the time in my busy schedule to do Nadine's job. The unfortunate part? For someone who makes less than $45,000/year, Nadine told me I still owed $5,000. How does that make sense when I know business owners who make 6 figures a year and owed WAY LESS than me? Biggest mistake was to hire Nadine to do my taxes... all freelancers and independent contractors WARNING: PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!

Its often a challenge to find an accountant/business advisor who truly cares about you and not just the accounting work. I run a small business and I wanted to increase the rental income of a long-standing tenant but I was hesitant to do so since I did not want to lose the tenant. Nadine was able to assist me with breaking down the various cost associated with running the business/property; this information was helpful as it allowed me to approach the tenant more confidently when I proposed an increase in the monthly rent. She also helped me to draft the proper language to use so that the relationship would not become fractured. In the end, the tenant was willing to pay the increase without objections. Nadine has also provided me with personalized tax advice. She prepared an invaluable complete financial analysis of my income taxes and provided a list of recommendations that offered opportunities to save on my taxes. (She highlighted areas where I can lower state and federal taxes and increase returns.) Some of them I implemented and realized tax savings. What I appreciate about Nadine is that shes truly thorough, considerate and straight forward. She educates me on how to manage certain areas of my business. She is always willing to share her knowledge to help you with not only your business but also ways to manage your overall finances. Small business owners like me need business and personal advice for our financial needs. I manage my business and my overall finances better due to the guidance I have received from Nadine. She is approachable, amicable and equally professional. You are in the right hands if you choose her services for your business.
