I really wish I could leave a lower rating. The food is horrible, and I've been sick for the 4 days following eating here. It's my own fault upon seeing the food quality we received at the table I should have known not to eat it. Unfortunately because of how over priced it is I didn't want to waste it. The drinks are subpar and overpriced, the food atrocious and over priced and I can't imagine why anyone would come here by choice.
So we got lucky it was happy hour but that was about it. It started when we arrived. It seemed every table was empty for reservations. They offer to sit us in this new seeming makeshift outdoor area. We first were seated at a table that would not sit still, waiter tried fixing it, but it was stabilized on one axis and not the other. We ultimately moved tables. Unfortunately, both tables and this whole area was right near the kitchen external service entrance which features particularly loud whinnying fan/exhaust. After having our appitizer and first drinks delayed, we decide to close out, pay our bill and depart.
Great service, drinks, and atmosphere. And dog-friendly which is ALWAYS a plus. Food is delicious but I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years and I can tell you this place is definitely more suited for meat-eaters. I still go for the drinks and the appetizers, though. I was so bummed when they weren't able to make their pasta without the meat the last time I went but I did have some amazing French onion soup and a brussels sprouts app that was SO good, plus 2 of the Tiki drinks pictured . Would definitely recommend this place and sit outside for the view!
I definitely will not return. Very high prices, poor service and food which looked and tasted like McDonald's drive up. . The server acted like we were eating at a gourmet restaurant with lots of showmanship during the chat up when he would come by 20 minutes after we we had asked others servers to fetch him. 350 bucks for 3 before the tip. And I had only a "salad". Quotes here because it was their specialty according to the menu which listed a half dozen ingredients. It actually included 2. Lettuce and dressing (with sugar as primary flavoring). Oh, they tout their craft brew and my two sons had 3 each, at 10 bucks per . Why 3? Beer is served in 8 ounce glasses.
