First of all, this "customer" has never spent a single dollar in my store. We offer a military discount on prepaid drop-offs which we generally charge $1.00 for. This "customer" has been coming in to our store for several months and he figured out a way to take advantage of our military discount. We finally had to tell him our system could not accommodate giving him a receipt because it was not able to cancel the charges for so many packages. He doesn't need the receipt for accounting purposes since he's never paid us a dime. In addition, all of his packages have tracking numbers I told him that shouldn't be a problem and he is welcome to bring the packages, we just couldn't give him the receipt he wanted. I told him he could just set the huge pile he brings in (almost daily) down and when we had a free moment, we'd scan them all in to the system and make sure they got out. He in turn sent two horrible emails to me threatening to shut my store down by blasting that we are discriminating against him! Here's the thing, my husband is a veteran who served in Desert Storm and one of my counter workers is an Air Force veteran who had 30+ years in the military! I'm pretty sure we never discriminated against him! As far as being a minority, I wasn't even aware of that, I'm still not sure what he means by a minority! Anyway, we do pride ourselves on our customer service, our Jewett City store has been in operation for 17 years, and our Groton store, where this "customer" was taking advantage of us has been in business for just over a year. I get numerous compliments on the patience and kindness of all of my employees daily! My two employees have been warning about this person for months and how he is taking advantage and I guess they were right!

This was the worst experience Ive yet to encounter in all my time shipping products. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and the service was really lousy due to the fact they discriminated me because Im a minority veteran. Will not be returning to this location ever again.

The employees were kind and professional but did not package my items correctly despite the fact I warned them of the fragile nature of the items. The items were just taken to the back room and I could only imagine what happened next. The items arrived in Florida and one of them was broken. This would not have happened if the items were correctly handled. The styrofoam was two inches thick and showed no signs of damage.
