I have never had such a bad experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. extremely over priced. The first time I went she colored my hair, ruined it, went back a week later when she said she would do it for free to FIX it and than makes me pay once again. After this I called the owner who made me come down to see if it even needed to be fixed, of course it did, and he down right scolded me like a kid in the chair and never refunded me and just threw me a free bottle of cheap shampoo. This is not even including the amount I than had to pay a different Salon to fix it., the new salon told me the only way they could have taken my hair from bright blonde to red orange is by putting the WRONG color in it. Way to many egos in this place, Think twice because there are much better salons out there.

Got to visit here last week and had an appointment with Matt. The online booking wasn't working for me so I called and left a message and was called back quickly to book an appointment. The building is cool and parking was very easy. The salon itself is fun and clean. Everyone there is courteous and Matt did an excellent job. The pricing is fine and around what I'm used to at other places. Definitely going back and would recommend this place to anyone looking. *** Updating to 3 stars. Unfortunately after several successful appointments my stylist was let go. I was noted that I would get instructions to book my appointment again and nothing was ever sent and I was never called to verify or book another appt. Left a sour taste in my mouth. ***

I've been to Nico several times and was always more than happy with the result. Most recently, I went for a cut and color and showed pictures of the color I wanted and specifically said that I wanted a natural orange-red, NOT something purple-y. He just dyed over my dark brown hair and, of course, it turned more of a murky purple-red. Trying to fix it only gave my purple hair a copper sheen. I was almost in tears I hated it so badly, and after telling him that, he just said to wait a week and maybe I'll like it. I wasn't there to pay $120 for something I hated and explicitly asked to not get. Apparently he's cocky enough to only be nice when you salivate over his work. I eventually paid when he couldn't seem to care less, and now I drive to Syracuse to my old hairdresser. I'll never be back.
