The pictures looked incredible from the website and we were so excited. Unfortunately, we arrived at the hotel. You walk into the lobby and are greeted with what looks like a black mirror episode, unsure where to go next. We managed to get to our room and it was nothing as expected. Everything was extremely outdated and dirty. We had 4 people so we needed all 3 beds. We folded out the first bed from the sofa, and were greeted with a nice large stain that was barely covered by the sheets. We then "lowered" the second bed from the wall. I say "lowered" because it sat directly on the already folded out bed, they would not both fold out. We had to move every bit of furniture, the duration of our stay, to accommodate. No more dining table time . I cannot even describe how horrible the pull out bed was. A slight shift of your weight would cause a category 5, earth shattering quake. If you survived sleeping on nails, you would then have to sacrifice another guest to sleep on the bed the next night. The walls were absolute paper, and room service would wake us every morning. If you manage to open the space station airlock that they called a "door", you would then realize that you aren't even close to the beach, as the pictures would imply. Just put your clothes in the hotel room, and go to the beach. You just might survive. The beach is fantastic, so just take the relatively short walk there, and don't turn back!
Room was infested with cockroaches... Crawling on the counters, on the table, in the sink. They'll try and tell you palmetto bugs.. same thing, look it up. I had them professionally identified as German cockroach. Either way, unacceptable in a room on vacation. They did give us a new room on the 3rd day of our 7 day stay.
When we showed up at the resort they didn't even know if the room was ready for us so we had to wait like 20 minutes for someone to go check on it or clean it up or whatever. The wifi is also very slow I ended up just watching movies with my mobile Hotspot rather than the resort wifi. Our room was supposed to accommodate 6 people, 2 in the master bed, 2 in the Murphy bed and 2 in a couch bed both of witch were in the living room, I had no problem with that but when we attempted to take both beds out for the night we discovered that they interfered with each other so we actually had to move all the furniture around in order to go to bed for the night so yeah
