I had a terrible experience trying to get my COVID-19 booster at Medly. Despite having an appointment, they said they didn't accept my insurance and so wouldn't give me the vaccine (despite the fact it says on their website you don't even need insurance to get the vaccine!) The lady at the pharmacy was curt and unhelpful.
Ive had too many poor experiences to not be direct. I dont think this Pharmacy would pass a review from an adequate governing authority if they regulated pharmacies in such a way. I have left empty handed on more occasions than my prescription was successfully filled. They seem to be constantly troubleshooting and pass the wait time and unsolicited revelations onto the consumer. In other words, their solutions often lead to foreseeable discrepancies with insurance and health care providers. They (as a unit, individuals ranging from competent and overworked, to ingenuous and ineffectual) have not so much as relieved the stress of disease and pharmacology, as they have been a roadworks hampering the road to recovery. I have been to rural Walgreens pharmacies with better insight, care, and results. I imagine the burden lies with management or corporate relating to poor training, burnout of critical individuals, new software, and supply. 1 star because their bags are cute (however a useless gimmick and accreting into a pile)
I am so thankful to the employees and practicioners that work here. Their expertise, patience and genuine care for each person is a delightful experience. Thank you for doing what you all do!
TERRIBLE. it took three trips to the Broadway store to get my prescription and each time there was a very long line. On the final trip it took two pharmacists to find my prescription bag. How can this be?
